steelerz
Hi, First of all I wanna thank everyone for their hard work on all these mods... I just installed the MVP 13 total conversion mod and everything is working great! Just wanted to know if there their was a certain difficulty level I should play on or certain sliders I should use for the most realistic gameplay.. or does the mod already have the sliders changed to be realistic.. thanks in advance Edited March 19, 2014 by steelerz
Yankee4Life
Hi, First of all I wanna thank everyone for their hard work on all these mods... Usually beginners start out at the lowest and work their way up as they get more used to the game. Use the difficulty level that you are comfortable with. As for sliders, there are a lot of them to choose from. Mvp 13 is realistic already but if you try other datafiles you will see that the game play will change a bit. This all boils down to how you want it.

Marg
Gameplay changed significantly comparing with even MVP12 (at least I feel this way), I had to adjust several sliders like batting contact, pitch meter difficulty etc.

Marg
my fault I forgot I had already another datafile.txt one folder level up... I think from MVP07 mod. So, yes, MVP12 and MVP13 have essentially the same datafile.
danc
Hey, I would very much like to configure the keyboard controls so that they match mvp12 etc. For some reason I can't seem to remap the controler keys (i.e. making enter the swing button) Any help on how to do this? Thanks.
ENCBase13
How come mines crashes so much? Literally I can't play consecutive games. It always crashes as soon as I start a game and exit it.

You are not providing any information for anyone to help you with except that "your game crashes so much." What operating system do you have? What other mods have you installed with this mod? Are the rosters updated? Have you tried to search the forums to see if someone had a similar problem that you are now having? (Hint: people have.) ENCBase13
I have windows 7 installed on my computer. I have "Grmrpr 2014 Roster" Also have the ESPN files installed that change the overlays and stuff. And I have a bunch of stadiums. Do you think maybe its crashing because I have not installed any patches for the game? I literally got it a couple days ago, installed it, extracted MVP 13 into my MVP 05 "big folder" I guess and launched MVP 13. If I need to install a patch what folder do I drop it in? I am in love with this game and this community man! You guys have this game looking so good!
Gordo
Install the original game Install OFFICIAL patch #3 (4 & 5 are just roster updates) Make a duplicate copy of this install (to keep around as a "template" to install other TC mods if you want) Install MVP 13 to the duplicate Install any MVP 13 patches available Don't modify anything further until you can get this "core" MVP 13 functioning *Many guys are finding a problem running MVP on W7 --- therefore, first try to right click on the mvp2005.exe file in the main folder and run in XP (SP3) compatibility mode and check box to run as administrator. If these steps don't work, try to reinstall the original MVP game via the discs to your DESKTOP.
ENCBase13
I figured it out. Basically running it as an Admin doesn't make the game crash. Has yet to crash the way it used to right after I got done playing a game. Once again thanks guys! Finally MVP is back! Haha.
