RollinsTar14
I was just wondering if there was a comprehensive updated mod out with all the new 2014 portraits. I love the ones already out, but alot has changed since 2013. Or even how to properly get them into the game when I create my own. When I upload into mvpedit, it crashes on loading the game. Thanks much!!!!!!
Homer
mlb has not updated the player pressbox photos yet so there are no new high res photos to use. it's unusual for them not to have them uploaded yet so we're all playing the waiting game. once this is updated we make portraits. RollinsTar14
Oh ok, no problem. When do they typically get released? Also, I have updated photos I made myself. But how to I incorporate them into the game without crashing?
Homer
spring training. read the tutorial on how to do portraits first. there are several ways to do it.
RollinsTar14
I think i know one way, using eagraph. But if they come out in spring training, shouldn't be out?
Yankee4Life
I think i know one way, using eagraph. But if they come out in spring training, shouldn't be out? No. MLB has their own timetable on when they decide to release the pressbox photos.
Homer
I think i know one way, using eagraph. But if they come out in spring training, shouldn't be out? that's the point. that's why it's strange that they are not out even still. can't do anything about it until they do. eagraph will eventually corrupt your portraits.big file. you should just try to use Tit or the installer thingy. RollinsTar14
Sometimes my TIT doesn't complete the process. It locks up sometimes during.. How do I use it in Windows 8?
RollinsTar14
T My TIT will lock up in Windows 7. It will get to the please wait window saying it's installing files and textures but never finish. Tried it with photos and uniforms. Same issue here but Windows
tomk30816
Make sure your anti-virus program is not deleting or putting the program exe file in quarantine. If so, you need to add the file/folder to the programs white list or ignore folder. Then, reinstall TIT, if the anti-virus program had removed it. tomk30816
Had it worked with your SSD drive previously?
RollinsTar14
I just purchased the SSD drive recently and did a fresh install of everything, however I have always installed and run MVP 2005 on my D drive. I only install Windows 7 on my C drive. I just reinstalled TIT to insure I installed it correctly and it always works fine until it gets to the part where it says it is installing the textures and other files, but it never completes. Disregard my issue as I manually checked the install and found the TIT.ini file installed in the C drive for some reason instead of the MVP2005 folder in the D drive. Retried and everything works fine now. Thanks So on Windows 8, if I move TIT.ini off the C drive, it will work? Or what shall I do? Sorry, I am not good with technical stuff.... tomk30816
What he is saying is: Make sure the TIT installs to C:program files(x86)/2Ksports folder or the MVP2005 folder.. If not move all the files including the TIT folder to the 2Ksports folder. Hopefully that will fix your problem.
RollinsTar14
- I noticed when I open the TIT, the path folder is not pre-placed in the box. But it used to be......So it goes in the x86 one, not the regular Program Files? - Any word on this year's portraits? Thanks!
tomk30816
In windows 7, that is correct, don't know anything about windows 8 or 8.1.
RollinsTar14
Does the game have to be installed in the x86, or does that not matter?
tomk30816
I said "yes" in program files (x86)
