DJEagles
I have EA Sports Online installed, but when I try to connect to ONline, it says that it doesn't appear to be installed on my computer. I can't seem to get any help from EA Sports, so if someone here has any ideas that would be great!
olyrunner
djeagles11, when I loaded MVP it never gave me the chance to choose "yes, install EASO". I am assuming it was because it was already in the EA Sports folder because I also had FIFA2005 previously installed. So it was there, but MVP didn't think it was there. This is what I had to do to get it to work: In the EASO folder, there is an uninstall, so I double-clicked. It threw up a few grumpy warnings, but in the end it was uninstalled. Then (you're probably not going to like this part) I uninstalled MVP and reinstalled. This time, with no previously installed EASO, it did prompt me to install it. And the end result was that the game recognized it. Hope this helps.

You can install just EASO, by putting disc 1 in the computer and running the following file: <CD DRIVE>:CommonEASOEASOInstaller.exe
olyrunner
five, did you just call me longwinded? I knew I just should have PM'ed you when I had this problem in the first place. I couldn't figure out how to just install EASO without uninstalling and reinstalling the entire thing. Now I do! Thank you!

I am gonna try unistalling and installing.

DJEagles
Now I have it all installed properly, but when I click to go to EA Sports Online, it says my Internet Explorer can't run the proper scripts? It asks me if I want to continue running the page, but just stays on a grey screen. It's obviously an Internet Explorer problem, but I can't figure it out. olyrunner
Hm, that's not good. This might have absolutely nothing to do with it, but I'm running out of ideas, so I'll throw it out there. Have you disabled your firewall and/or antivirus software? I have to always make sure Norton isn't running because it messes everything up. I can barely take a breath without Norton sending a popup saying "You are trying to breathe....are you sure you want to do this? Current setting: Block All Breathing". Anyway, firewall and AV software might not have anything to do with your issue, but I suppose it's worth a try.
DJEagles
I was thinking about that one myself. I am running MacAfee, which is constantly on my a@s about things. I will try that now. Thinks for all your help.
