SidneyFan
If someone could read this and help me, that would be great. Here is a step-by-step process of what I did and what happens. Odds are I'm missing something blatantly obvious but none the less here it is. 1, Download file on google chrome from this site. 2. When download is complete, I locate the file in the downloads folder. 3. Clicking on the folder popped up an alert that said windows didn't know how to open the file. So seeing that it was a 7-zip file, I downloaded a 7 zip file manager. 4. I then created a file on the desktop 5. With the 7 zip file manager, I extracted the MVP13 file into the folder I had created on the desktop. 6. In the desktop file I created, there were 3 files: README, MVP13.mbe, and the explodeme application. 7. I clicked on the explodeme app and the self-extracting thing opened. 8. From there I browsed to Libraries-Documents-My Documents-MVP Baseball 2005 extracting the explodeme to the clean MVP 2005 file location. 9. When that was done I went into my documents and located the folder I had extracted the explodeme to. 10. In there, I saw the "mvp2005" application and clicked it 11. The screen with Kershaw pitching showed up followed by the loading screen with the four baseball card pictures. 12. The load bar barely shows then the game crashes. This happened to me once then to fix it I deleted everything, re-installed the game and downloaded again on a better internet connection. Still the same problem occurred. From all the videos/pictures I've seen MVP 2013 mod looks amazing. If someone could help my issue that would be much appreciated. If there are any questions you have for me to fix this issue, I'll try to respond as quickly as possible. Thanks
Gordo
I think the problem was attempting to install it to the "my documents" mvp 2005 folder, which houses things like season/dynasty saves and profiles. You should be installing it to a fresh install of 2005 that is housed either in your program files folder or your desktop, wherever you installed that. You may want to do a clean install of MVP 2005 from your disks. Install official patch 3. And then keep that as a master. You can make a copy of that entire folder. Rename it....say to MVP 13 (or whatever you want) and then do the explode me process to that new, copied folder.
