Russifer
Hello,I have a legitimately purchased copy of MVP 2005 that works great on my Windows 7 desktop. For laziness but more for protection purposes (in case the discs break), I've made the discs into ISO files and run the game that way, and it works perfectly. I just bought a Windows 8 tablet, and I would love to be able to play MVP 2005 on my tablet. So I moved the same ISO's over to my tablet, installed the game fine. But when I try to run the game post-installation, the splash screen comes up then I get an error "Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart the application". I've tried mounting the files using Daemon Tools (which is what I use on my Win7 desktop) and also the built-in Windows 8 file mounter. Same error for both. Anyone have an idea? Thanks! Russifer
Thanks BigRog. I was hoping that wasn't the case since I have a purchased copy. Strange that it works fine on Windows 7 but not 8...
