There's no way this could ever happen in America. As awesome as that video is there would be a) some sort of lawsuit B) someone really would get shot, considering all the gun toting cowboys in our country.

Actually, it could happen in new york...they ban hand guns. But otherwise this was hilarious and awesome.

I came across this very nice video today. Boston at New York on April 14, 1931. This short film has audio too and it's fascinating.

April 14th was opening day for the Red Sox and Yankees. New York won the game 6 - 3. You can view the game information from Retrosheet right here.

That's fantastic. And thanks for mentioning Retrosheet! Never heard of it. I love sites like that! Sometimes as I play along my 1951 Total Classics season with "Da Bums", I wish I could look up a particular series and see what the batting orders were like. This site is really a treasure.

Retrosheet is my main resource when creating rosters for the Total Classics mods.

Brazilians do crazy stuff. They're great fun, and as part of my daily life is being around brazilians I've come to appreciate their culture. For portuguese speakers there's really a lot to enjoy.

Those clips were from a TV show down in Brazil. I watched that coffin one again and I said to myself that this would never happen in America because some whiner would immediately run to a lawyer.

Anyway, here are more of those zany Brazilians.

The guy laughing off camera is what really made me laugh here. He's really having a good time.

Hilarious! I don't know what the hell is being said but I can follow it. :D

Someone would kill this guy if it happened in America. And I mean literally.
