nashionality
alright guys, i know this topic has been beaten to death in the forums but my game wont allow me to change the player detail level to anything but low (its greyed out in other words). I have read that it can be changed in the .ini file but everyone has failed to mention were that can be found... (any help would be great) also, if there are any moders out their willing to "patch this problem up" because i believe me and the million other MVP'ers would greatly appreciate it if someone could fix this. The final thing i've read is that i need to buy a new graphics card, which is bull, because mine greatly exceeds the minimum requirements... so im not falling for that
jpup
have you tried new drivers? how did you install the game?
Kriegz
The final thing i've read is that i need to buy a new graphics card, which is bull, because mine greatly exceeds the minimum requirements... so im not falling for that The minimum requirements are what is required for the game to actually work, it doesn't have to do with the detail levels, If you want it to be on high, you need a new graphics card
whitewolf
... which makes no sense since we're talking about the exact same player model graphics as in MVP 2004. G_d, I love EA!

RAM
looking at the game files it seems that the correct file to work would be the MVPoptions_options .sav file in mydocs mvpbaseball2005, however it is greek to me. i'm a hardware guy this kind of stuff gives me a headache. i'm sure that someone here who is good with data files could tweak it real quick. so, any takers?
