GenAlpha
Maybe you have to railroad him in certain situations. Like when he already has the ball.

Hudson_Vasquez
Unfortuantely, most of these controls are not possible unless you have a gamepad. However, all is not lost! You can still do all these Big Plays using the keyboard. The keyboard can emulate all of the Big Plays normally done on a gamepad. Here are the respective keys: Home: Stop runners Right shift + Numpad 2: Feet-first slide Right shift + Numpad 2 + Numpad 6: Feet-first slide to the right Right shift + Numpad 2 + Numpad 4: Feet-first slide to the left Right shift + Numpad 8: Head-first slide (also railroads catcher at homeplate) Right shift + Numpad 8 + Numpad 6: Head-first slide to the right Right shift + Numpad 8 + Numpad 4: Head-first slide to the left I hope this is what you were looking for! Vieux_Renard
i confirm : the catcher must have the ball in order to railroad him
spitoon
I've only done it once so far, but I held the stick up way earlier than I thought I would have to, like when my guy was only 1/2 way between 3rd and home and just kept holding it up. I think it has more to do with where the catcher is and whether or not he has the ball, than timing.
mrtuck73
I have only done it once as well and I did the same thing spitoon did. I held up on the left stick well before I thought I would have to. The game made a different noise as well when I did it. I guess I was lucky, the catcher dropped the ball and I was safe!
