karnoff
this years version of MVP doesnt run well on my comp, theres enough slowdown to make it unplayable...last year, i ran mvp perfect, and with less memory, i dont understand it. my specs are P4 3.06 HT 512 RAM 32 MB Geforce 5200 (i know it sucks, but last years game ran perfect with it) and last year, i only had 256 MB of RAM, if anyone has anyway to help me out...i have a 64 MB GeForce at home...i just gotta wait till i get there to to install it...but if anyone has any help in the meantime thanks. There are a number of threads already in existence with advice on how to reduce the 'choppiness' in this game... First thing I would try on your rig is to increase the level of AA and/or AF in your video card properties screen and see how that works.
karnoff
no no, i dont think its the choppiness...this is slowdown...not choppiness in the game like after a hit or anything...its slowdown...but i dont see why it should be so unplayable because last years worked great...on less memory.... :? karnoff
well, like i said, last year the game ran perfect on 256MB of less memory, so i decided to go back to 256MB of memory, so i took out my one slot of 256MB and left the other in, and the game runs perfect as ever...on less memory...not really sure how thats possible...but it is. odd game
