MVP Edit ...It's Algebra to me...

I have no readme ...The boards here have been helpful but only to a minimum..

I think I'm stupid..(Can't poor a gallon of knowledge into a shot glass of a brain)....

I still have the crash problem..when I replace a pic and edit a player...

If I then go into Manage Roster screen within the game and go to the edit/create a player screen and choose that player to edit...

She Crashes to desktop.

There are two different types of pics...one under PLAYER it is a real photo.

Then under the APPEARANCE tab there is the graphic of that photo...

I also see a tab that says ..YES or NO to 04 ???

If a player has no picture under the APPEARANCE tab but has a photo I guess he has MVP's plain jane geniric face ..right (1 of 8 I guess)

You see I want to put some pizazz into my edited players because the MVP generic editor is weaker than last years..faces all look the same to me!

Anyone have help I will welcome it I have over 400 players I must edit or create.

The one under player is his potrait, and the one under Apperance is his in game face.

Yes, as long as the face number is from 901-915.

Thanks helps somewhat....now if I can just stop it from crashing?

First make sure you are using mvpedit 2005.2, if you are then try replacing the manager.dat file from the first mvp baseball 2005 disc, if that doesn't work, then I guess all you can do is replace the potrait.big file with the one from the first mv baseball 3005 disc and wait until a new version of mvpedit comes out.

Okay, let's start from the beginning:

1. Make sure you have disc 1 in the cd drive

2. Right click on the disc and hit explore

3. Look through the disc for a file called compress.zip

4. Open it up and look for a file called manager.dat

5. Put manager.dat in the mvp baseball 2005datadatabase folder

6. When it asks to overwrite click yes.

Try that.
