BeauKnowsDiddly
Hey everyone, So I just installed MLB 2k12 onto my Windows 10 machine and it will not run. It appears to load all the info, game boards, user profile, saves etc,, and gets stuck on the screen right before the game actually loads. I have to reboot my computer to get out of it. I'm running Windows 10 64bit. 8 core processor, 4.42 ghz, 16 gigs and Display is AMD Radeon R9 200 Series. When I check the what framework I'm running I see different ones up to 4.0. I do not believe I have Java installed, if that's required? Thanks everyone!
raidersbball20
It was a date bug. Assuming you're running a legal copy of the game you need to install patch 1.2. It's uploaded on this site. It will fix the problem.
BeauKnowsDiddly
Thank you!! I'm new here, can you tell me how to find that patch?

BeauKnowsDiddly
No that didn't do it I then tried installing java just for giggles, but that didn't work either. It still get's stuck at the same Major League 2k12 screen.
raidersbball20
Again, I'm assuming you are not pirating the game. Its not gonna work applying a 1.2 patch and then using a 1.1 crack. I can't help you if you're using a pirated copy.

Do a Google search for it. Surely if you can overclock a processor you can handle it. Cheers
rictor
Or you can just simply change the date to 2012, run the game and then set it back to 2017.

Or use RunAsDate to assign the program to always do it automatically
rictor
Yeah yeah. Just mentioned the simplest, but maybe not the most efficient, solution.
