Just google for a large pic that doesn't have excessive lighting or shadowing over the face. Sometimes I have to use more than one reference pic, especially if the player has a beard.. Sometimes I use multiple pics as reference to cut and paste one part of the face at a time.

I was just wondering where the CF experts get their headshots.  I ask bc It's often clear to find a clear pic with closed mouth

Just speaking as a modder, when I tinker around, like if I was working on a face, the way I would work on it is basically if there is a quality version of the face itself, I'll just split it into parts I can use and what I can't I'll source it from google, sort by large so I get an HQ face or texture and work from there.

@Jed @Enryke86 In this case, for a guy like Cavan Biggio, his pressbox photo (link) is a solid, solid start.

2K12 has managers/staff sorted out as different types:

Manager
Hitting Coach
Pitching Coach
Trainer
Scout

Most managers listed in the game only have in-game portraits but I'm not entirely sure yet

I used to have a MLB.com Press box license, there were some quality pictures from the manager ... Unfortunately, I no longer have a license ...

I think there's a handful of us that have access to the MLB Pressbox, but they haven't been active on our site in a long time.

that picture of biggio is perfect my friend, will be good start

I have been searching gettyimages.com. Just search for the player and in the left side panel change people composition to Headshot. All are very high quality images as well!

Ha that's the same pressbox shot.

The fun part about doing faces is finding good reference images, which can be impossible.

Personally I'd love to see some new CAP faces, honestly ;)

Sidenote, looks like Shogo Akiyama is headed to Cincinnati ;)

Plus, a lot of times when I finally find a good face, it's at an angle
