Hex Editing Stat Overlays?

With help and based on guides, I have done some very basic hex editing on games like Tecmo Super Bowl and Baseball Stars. I was wondering if it was possible to tweak the frequency, timing and information of the stat overlays with hex editing?

 

I have a lot of ideas, but I will list just one because if it isn't possible then there is no need to delve that deeply into it. 

Would it be possible to add both pitcher's records to the upcoming matchups overlay. It has always bothered me that the game lists the upcoming pitching matchup, but not the won loss record of the pitchers.
