acsguitar5
Just wondering if I need to do the regedit or both regedit and .cfg edit. Or can I just edit the .cfg for the right stick. Anyways I have 2 Airflos in the mail to replace my Logitech Donkey Actions....When I searched for Controllers, Nyko, registry I came up with lots of info but most had dead links having to do with High Heat Baseball or other sites... Basically I'm just looking for a How To for the Nyko Airflo...I work IT so no need to dumb it down.. Thanks alot guys! Ok i did a search and came up with this: Does it work for the Airflo? 1. Open Regedit (Start>Run>regedit) 2. Make your way to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMControlSet001ControlMediaPropertiesPrivateProp erties JoystickOEM 3. You'll see a bunch of entries like VID_045E&PID_000XXXX and when you click on it, it should have the name of a controller in the right pane 4. For me, it was the last entry. Keep going down the list until the controller that has the same name in your Controller is shown on the right window. 5. Delete the description for that window on the right window and rename it to Logitech Dual Action. (Example: My controller name was simply USB Generic Controller or something like that, so I just renamed it and it was immediately detected in game. five
With the new game, it'll probably be recognized off the bat. You'll have to tweak the controller.cfg file, but you shouldn't have to edit the registry.
