So I did a little bit of poking around the rookie.big to see if I could control what jersey numbers rookies were automatically generated with. Sadly, I couldn't find anything regarding jersey number or birthdays, but I did find an interesting little thing in the names.csv - apparently there's a value called "Use Full Name".

 

So rather than having randomly generated names, you can change a 0 into a 1 and have a dedicated Albert Pujols rather than an Albert Ortiz and Jose Pujols. All by changing one little value. It's pretty cool and I haven't had a chance to try it out yet due to my work schedule, but that can be awesome when planning out draft classes in MVP 98.
