houston34
HypnoxXx. Check your PM and let me know how to send and let me know if you want me to begin with the others. I know how to find the players photos for the sites that dont have them. I think the only thing missing now is better appearences and im offering to do this for the next update.I only want to do the appearences nothing else, not changing anything but what they look like.No height or weight corrections or jersey numbers or if they should be on AAA insead of AA or Single A Etc. I will just go in and do all 30 teams full organization and get the players with faces 901-915 and give them as close as you can get accurate faces and skin tones.I will not give them an EA face only options is 901-915.And will do the correct hair color as well. kfrkevin
First of all, THANK YOU for all the incredibly hard work. Great job! Question on the Giants minor league teams. I may be missing something but here are some corrections I think need to be made. Cain is in AAA Fresno, not AA Norwich. Valdez is a starter at AA Norwich, not a setup guy. Stamina needs to be changed. Aardsma is a starter at AA Norwich, not middle relief. Stamina needs to be changed. Sadler shares closer role at AA Norwich, not A San Jose. Justin Hedrick is the closer at A San Jose and is not in the game. (He is a prospect) Leo Estrella, listed in AA Norwich, is no longer in the Giants organization. (Recently released by Toronto) BBY: Question on Cain's numbers: My understanding is he has a high 90s fastball. Why isn't it in there? Here is a link to a story from his most recent outing which says he has a high 90s fastball. http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/200...s/26438802.html Thanks guys. lilfisch
CORRECTION... Nook Logan CF from the Detroit Tigers batting stance should be changed. His stance is Chipper Jones. It is perfect for him. Great work guys. Nicely done. I have never cried about how long it takes. I once tried it and I just couldn't do it. F*** all of those that just cry instead of give you guys props. lineshot
I've started my dynasty with injuries and cpu initiated trades turned off. So, if that's the case, lineups and rotations should stay as they are. :?: I plan on just playing along with this season, so since I can't control any other teams rosters but the team I play with (which bites) I'll just try to maintain status quo for the season. abacusand13south
Not really a cocky kid at all Totte, pretty mild-mannered from what I was exposed to. I met him and his father the day of the game and they were both thrilled that the Sox gave him a look with their first pick that year. He rolled up in a used, regular ol' car and was very polite and well spoken with my high school coach who's a bit of a legend in MA. Definitely confident, but not at all repulsive...carries himself well. Getting married soon too, so hopefully his career is on the upswing after tommy john surgery. Fun to root for that type of prospect IMO. Actually in 2000 when delcarmen was drafted he was the red sox second rounder, phil dumatrait was picked before him with there first round pick. Millennium
A little Baltimore update: With Sosa and Matos headed to the DL, Baltimore called up Sal Fasano, Keith Reed, and, get this, Jeff Fiorentino from the Single A Frederick Keys. They also sent down Rick Bauer for good. The only URP impact this has is Rick Bauer to AAA, Sal Fasano to the O's. I am just in shock that they would call up a Single A guy.... Really appreciate all the time put into this project. I submitted no corrections for the Giants org. last time. Feel free to make a "roster move" list for the Giants and submit it to Hyp. I did the changes all myself last night. I'm including some guys from Augusta and Oregon in my A team. Want up-to-date rosters in the Giants system: http://img170.echo.cx/my.php?image=giantsys1pm.jpg The idea with Cain is to use his sinker as his fastball and his fastball as his "cut" fastball. The best scouting summary I've found is given below: "He has an overpowering, 89-96 mph sinker from a 3/4 delivery and will cut his fastball to 85-87 mph, giving hitters a different look. His curveball is the better of his complimentary pitches as he's not always consisent with arm speed for his 80-84 changeup." Street & Smith's Baseball 2005 p. 154 As for changes, I've done my part. This has given me a wonderful template to work from. I'm going to forge on and tweak every prospect on every team, pitching and position players. I'm going to continue onto the AA and A levels (I'm not crazy about half of AA having ERAs under 2.00). By the time I get done at a reasonable pace, Hyp and llc will have probably closed up shop. If they're still around, maybe I'll just send them a copy of my roster and they can use what they want. As a 49er fan, why should I look forward to the August release of Madden? I'll play this game all summer, fall, and winter. But continually beating HypnoxXx with pitch tweaks I feel has run its course. So what if I think Javy Vazquez throws a knuckle-curve: Mar 03, 2005 - 8:30 am Javier Vazquez has added a knuckle-curve, which he learned last season from Mike Mussina, to his repertoire. http://rotochamps.com/mlb-3584-Javier-Vazquez.html or circle change: "Vazquez's pitches are above average:....and a circle change" , S.N. Ult. p. 82 It's clear that the majority is pleased. One thing I will leave with is a little experiment I did last night. Happy playing and tweaking. McCarroll21
I know Andruw said the Braves changes havent been put in yet because he missed Hyp by a little bit. But here are some things I've noticed if Andruw hasn't said the same things. Mondesi needs to be lowered, and lowered a lot. Right now he's better then Chipper Jones on the game. His power needs to be lowered. In the Xbox version he is 63 vs RHP and 77 vs LHP, I don't know what that converts to in MVP Edit but it needs to be lowered to about 54 vs RHP and 61 vs. LHP. Contact needs to be taken down a little bit but not much. Probably just against RHP down to 60 (currently 68). Leave vs LHP how it is (63). Plate discipline (currently 80) needs to be taken down to 60. His speed needs to be lowered to a 70 (currently 75) and his stealing tendency needs to be taken down to 50 (currently 75) because he doesn't run anymore. Brian Jordan needs to be toned down against LHP. Leave contact the way it is but his power needs to be taken down to 54 from 70. Up his speed from 55 to 63, and his baserunning ability from 55 to 80. Pete Orr needs some power taken out of his bat. 41 vs. RHP needs to be lowered to 34, and 34 vs. LHP needs to be lowered to 30. Durability needs to go up from 60 to 70. His speed needs to be upped. He's an 83 right now, up that to 89, and raise his stealing tendency to 80 (75 in game). Baserunning ability needs to be up to 75 (from 65). Fielding needs to be upped from 60 to 70. Throwing strength needs to be increased to 65 (from 50). Throwing accuracy can be left the same (60). Also change his second position to Util. Ryan Langerhans needs fixing. He should be the third best OFer on the team. Better than Jordan. Career potential needs to be raised from 1 star to 3 stars. Contact right now is 52 and 46, up that to 61 and 55. His power needs to be increased. Currently 50 and 42, up that to 58 and 46. Increase his plate discipline to 55 from 40. Speed needs to be taken to 61 from 57, but stealing tendency lowered to 55. Baserunning ability needs to be changed from 55 to 65. His fielding needs an overhaul. He's the second best defensive guy in the OF. Fielding from 50 to 70. Range from 50 to 70. Throwing strength from 65 to 75 and accuracy from 50 to 70. Those are the ones that just stuck out in my head from the Major League team. I'll wait until Andruw gets his changes in the next update to look into everything too much because I want to see how he has the team looking before I go make changes. bby I'm not going to suggest any changes because I don't have an eye for pitchers like you do, but I'm going to ask that you take a look at John Foster on the Braves staff. I don't know if changes need to be made because he's probably pitching way over his head, but I'd appreciate it if you looked into that.

Andruw25
I agree totally about Mondesi, and the changes to Jordan and Orr sound good to me as well. Langerhans might be a little inflated with those changes, even though he's slowly taking time in the corners away from the vets...but you're right, he should be better. The biggest changes you'll see when the corrections are included is the minor leagues, especially Myrtle Beach since over half the guys are the wrong race. Guys like Jose Ascanio, a future closer as of now, will be included, and all the top prospects looking and playing like they should. Kids like Jarrod Saltalamacchia should be a lot better than they are now, and Gregor Blanco will be running the bases better than anyone (59 speed currently). Looking forward to any and all suggestions McCarroll when the update is out...should be soon.

Stix
Well you can't import them with MVPEdit, before you copid it in the database folder, otherwise you are using the EA default. Copy the files into the database folder, overwrite everything, then open MVPEdit, hit import, and VOILA, le new roster Is there another way to install them without MVPedit? I keep getting an error whenever I've tried to run MVPedit lately.

llcmac
Welp, just got the news that we have to change our name. Apparently we are no longer allowed to use "Ultimate" because our rosters are so inaccurate, that users have been reporting us left and right. It saddens me that something like this would actually happen, therefore I am quitting the project.
HypnoxXx
You have Barry Larkin in your version? How the hell did that happen? Larkin hasn't been in these rosters since before I even joined up with llcmac! And for this whole HypnoxXx/llcmac HR derby thing--I have no idea why we'd be good...I made us terrible and gave us a 1 star rating, there's no way we should have advanced that much. If anyone else has this problem, my reccomendation is to edit us down to all zeros for ratings in the game...
