Here is still hoping a few guys i have been pushing get some love.

Oak Dan Johnson- alot of homers, .300+ avg int he minors and a decently rated 1B. I just don't get why we cannot get this guy higher.

R- 60/67, L 50/ 57

Hou Willy Taveras .255 ov. .305 vs righties in 118 pro Abs. 50/40 i just don't think cuts it.

R- 67/ 40 L- 40/40

Victor Diaz- Why did he gets lowered in the 40's and 50's? Hit good last year and hitting .280 this year. mid 60's for contact i would think if you basis the drop on age -23.

R- 66/51, L- 60/46

Jason Dublois- Why does he get so much love. Very good versus R in the game but .250 vs r, .265 vs L. And if Dan Johnson has no power why does he? 78/68 VS R for Dublois- nah

R- 62/68 L- 65/60

Cubs in general- #2 overall- I know its only June 2 but does this team really have #2 talent this year, last year, any year?

To me prime targets to lower-

Burnitz- This isn't Colorado todo. .266 vs R, .240 vs L. .254 lifetime. Sounds more like 64 vs L and 69-70 vs R instead of the 71/78 the game has.

R- 70/82, L- 64/73

Barrett- 16 homers is his career high. .270 three year split VS R. doesn't sound like 82/75 VS R to me. Try 75/68 maybe

R- 75/68

Hairston- .261 lifetime, .262 right now, maybe the .300 last year is the misprint. Three year splits .280L, .279 R. Sounds more like 77 L /75 R for contact then 82/82.

R- 75/57, L- 77/54

D-Backs #27 overall?

Cruz jr- 20+ homer guy but 57 pow vs R, 64 vs L. Give the guy a raise. 67 vs L and 65 vs R

R- 60/65, L- 67/64

L Gonzalez- three year splits R .310 avg .563slug, L .245, .450. We have the L avg right at 63 but pow of 83 nah. try 73. As for R i think your looking at 84/82.

R- 84/82, L- 63/73

Vasquez- 8 BB in 74 innings. Lets raise that 4FB control and maybe some movement.

Lyon and Halsey- is a Dog in the current one- i am not a pitching guru- Someone know anything here?

thanks-Don

I totally agree with dkrause. The players mentioned need an overlook while the Cubs aren't that good and the D'backs ain't that bad.

More Edits.....

Miguel Tejada (BAL) needs is old HIGH batting stance

Brian Roberts (BAL) needs his power vs. RHP to about 75 vs. LHP about 72 and raise his contact for both to abuot 82-85 vs. RHP being slightly higher

Melvin Mora (BAL) M.Ordoñez batting stance

Ruben Sierra (NYY) if it is possible to make his HR swing from the left side the 2 Giambi's swing closes thing to him becuz he stares at the ball when he drills it and does a little mini hop....and from the left side put the one that A-Rod by defualt does

Alex Rodriguez (NYY) also another HR swing make him do Miguel Tejadas bat toss and little hop if possible....would really add to the realism

Hideki Matsui (NYY) eliminate his HR swing when he hits HR's he doesnt stare he hits it and drops his bat as if it were a single

i kno this is asking for alot but i dunno if its possible so i thought i wouldnt hurt to put it in here just in case it is possible becuz i noticed that Jeter had a HR walk in the original rosters that came wit the game and he doesnt do it anymore in ur rosters which is accurate and i thought that mayb u guys had suttin to do wit tha....if so good job i think it be good to apply to other players

Second position stuff

Jacob Cruz should be 1B-OF. He does not play 1B primarily--BUT--it makes it to where he is able to play all outfield positions AND first base. Unlike putting him as a primary LF with 1B as his second position, that makes it to where he can't play RF as well in the game.

If you are editting the rosters, do the players still have their HR walk? Or are they omitted out of the game once you edit them? Which other players have specific HR walks?

Just curious, any help will be appreciated.

This is really a minor "issue", but SP D. Cabrera (BAL), was clocked at 101 MPH, a couple of times this season. In this roster set, he has 95 velocity, should be at least 98.

From watching today's game against the Padres, Neifi Perez's (Chicago Cubs) stance is much more like Lofton. He keeps his knees straight but is slightly bent at midsection. The Lofton stance is closest to this and it looks good in the game.

Someone please answer this. I am looking at the changes people suggested for the rosters. None of the 'skin color' parameters have been changed, only the faces. If someone is black, and they have a face=10, but skin=2, will they appear black in the game? If not there are a ton of changes to be made.

The skin tone is only used if the player has a custom face. So, if the face number is anything between and including 901-915, then skin tone won't matter.

These two requests are wrong.

#1 Tejada's stance as Carl Everett is as close as you are going to get to his semi-closed stance with a bat waggle. His high batting stance has his hands WAY too high.

#2 Roberts has cooled off on power numbers in May. He is still a good hitter, but to believe he is a 75/72 power guy is insane. You are looking at a 30 HR guy with the contact/power combo you have. Besides, if you play the games, his hot areas match up perfectly with his real life power swing (which is ALWAYS pulling down the line) so, and I say this from experience in the game, if you get an inside pitch you are expecting, you can take it out of the yard.

I haven't checked on Mora's stance being Ordonez, but I think Vlad's stance is decent for Mora (hands also a little too high), btu when Mora's stance was changed back in version 1 there were 4-5 Orioles fans that agreed on the Vlad stance after researching all of the stances.

In response to player stats edits that people have suggested and agreed with, I believe that upping the stats of a player that's having a career year a few points (i.e. Lee) is okay but dropping stats shouldn't be done "YET" because the year is only a few monthes old. Will D. Lee be batting .380 in Sept. and Todd Helton batting .257 in Sept.? Maybe, maybe not. Players have hot and cold streaks. Players also have career years. There's at least 2 or 3 players on each team that you would have to decrease stats. Throw in that that player will probably or more than likely have a decrease in points at the end of the dynasty, so a player like Todd Helton will suffer because premature edits.

Yeah the Cubs are ranked 2nd in the league in talent more in part you can't disable their injured star players and not have them count in the ranking. I guess you would have to decrease the stats of Wood, Nomar, Barrett, Maddux, Burnitz, Hairston, Ramirez and increase Lee, Rusch, Wellmeyer, Ohman, Bartosh, Perez because of their April to June 2nd performances. EA player stats arent perfect but give the players the chance to prove that last year was a fluke by playing the whole year. Look at Ryne Sandberg's April & May stats...does it reflect his overall stats? Look at Bret Saberhagen's career stats....CY Young one year, CY Old the next. My point: Vote for giving players 2005 props and let the the 2004 fluke prove they are flukes.
