Eric Chavez--I think Lots goes here instead of Super Octavio Dotel--this guy is Super??? Bret Boone is Super? Jamie Moyer is Lots? Willie Bloomquist is Lots? Angel Berrora is Lots? jhath
Braden Looper of the Mets is super also.... i think the game has all closers as super?
Stix
Dan Kolb is kinda super in the game. He could afford turning down alittle bit. I think that Chris Restima is a bit under rated. His ERA is 3.54 but only becuase he had two bad outings giving up a combine 5 runs. Besides that he's been pretty solid with 4 saves, 18 Ks, in 28 appearences. Cavicchi
i too agree with greinke as super. berroa should be 3 star - he hasn't done much since he won ROY. How does Greinke rate as Super? Would you place him in the same class as Pedro Martinez, Ben Sheets, Jake Peavy, Johan Santana, just to name a few? Personally, I don't see where Greinke rates as Super, at least not by his record. sfgiantsflgators
greinke's record is a direct result of his team - his run support is 2.19 rpg, third worst in the league. secondly, greinke is just 21 and when he's on he makes hitters look absolutely foolish. case in point: early this year against the M's greinke introduced richie sexson to his sub-60 curveball. threw it over for the first pitch, 0-1. second pitch 90 mph fastball taken for 0-2. third pitch, 56 mph curve that sexson had already finished his swing before it had crossed home. strikeout. Cavicchi
Greinke's ERA last year was 3.97 and much worse so far this year. He is not in the class of Peavy or the others I mentioned above. Greinke: 2004 KC 24 24 0 0 145.0 143 64 64 26 26 100 8 11 0 0 -- 3.97 2005 KC 13 13 1 0 70.1 87 50 47 10 18 42 1 7 0 0 -- 6.01 Total -- 37 37 1 0 215.1 230 114 111 36 44 142 9 18 0 0 -- 4.64 That is not Super in my book. sfgiantsflgators
Peavy's stats his first two years: 6-7, 4.52 ERA 12-11, 4.11 ERA Sheets first two: 11-10, 4.76 ERA 11-16, 4.15 ERA Santana did relief his first two before bumped to spot starter until last year: Before last year: 23-12, 4.32 ERA So Greinke last year had a sub-4.00 and his ERA this year was under 5.00 in twelve starts until last night against arizona, by far his worst outing ever (11 ER). so yes, greinke is super because his first year is comparable to sheets, peavy, and santana. Peavy, Santana, and Sheets are not Super based on their first two years! They have *shown* by their recent performance that they qualify as Super. This year should not have any real significance because we are not even halfway through the season. What if a guy has a great first-half and lousy second half? Point is Greinke has *not* shown he is Super by his performance thus far.
sfgiantsflgators
Peavy, Santana, and Sheets are not Super based on their first two years! They have *shown* by their recent performance that they qualify as Super i agree with that - my sole reason for labeling him as super is for dynasty/owner mode progression purposes because that is what most people use these rosters for IMO. i would rather see a top prospect rated as such and have him succeed in year 2 or 3 than bumped down to a lower car. pot. and not do much in future years. i will concede that he has yet to perform in a cy young manner and until he does he's not a top tier pitcher...but for this project i think he should be given a higher ranking than most prospects because he is definelty in the top tier of first/second year canidates
Cavicchi
He is rated Lots, which I think is plenty for a guy with his stats. I imagine it is impossible to predict what guys will do, and we shouldn't be too concerned about Greinke because you could always edit his Star Power in the game. Meanwhile, he is not Super, and there's no way to predict where he's going.

Andruw25
If you really need to make a case for URP's comprehensive minor leagues, look no further than the Atlanta Braves! For the time being, Brian McCann was called up and is wearing # 16 with Atlanta. He already has 3 hits and a homer to his credit. His socks should be low, bat color - 1, no shin guard. Also, give him hair style 6 as he doesn't really have side burns. Brian could get called down as soon as tomorrow with Estrada ready, but he's # 3 overall in the system and someone worth watching in the future. Andruw25
Forgot Blaine Boyer. He's wearing # 48 in Atlanta with his socks low as well, black glove. He goes over his head in his windup so change it to style 6. Boyer is missing his best pitch which is the sinker. From the handbook: "Boyer operates with two plus pitches. His heavy sinker sits at 92-93 mph and generates plenty of groundball outs." In watching him this afternoon in his debut, it was right at 92 as forecasted with pretty good command.
