chakfu
I really agree with the idea of giving players on the 40 man roster their major league numbers - do many people really play with the minor leagues, or care if a player's minor league number is right? (maybe they do, that's where the conflict is...) I know that I would rather have a player's # be correct if and when he gets called up, I don't even really care what numbers someone in the minors has, the minors is just a reserve to call up to the majors IMO

Not too many people play w/the minors, and only 15 or so out of 75 minor league players would be affected.

big shmooz
Jake Woods of the Angels has Barry Zito's pitching stance. He does the double pump exactly like Zito. He also pitches with the windup over his head just like Zito.
big shmooz
I am a bit confused about Ervin Santana of the Angels. Is his ID number 6004 or changed to 6024?
Redsoxkid
What are the chances that there will be the first round draft picks in the next installment?
Hory
I am a bit confused about Ervin Santana of the Angels. Is his ID number 6004 or changed to 6024? Ervin Santana ANA-AA id should in fact be 2437 so that's another correction to add for 2.
chakfu
Matt Miller of the Indians should throw sidearm.
MarkB
Exactly! Not too many people play w/the minors, and only 15 or so out of 75 minor league players would be affected. I play more with the minors than with the majors. What are the chances that there will be the first round draft picks in the next installment? I would guess that if they have been signed and assigned to one of the teams that are in the game, then they will be in the next version. If they haven't been signed or have been sent to a low-A facility, then they probably won't.
Andruw25
Two player updates: Adrian Gonzalez of Texas (AAA) lost the goatee. His new appearance should be this: Face 7, Hair color 1, Hair style 5, Facial hair 1 Change his bat color to 4, socks low, and batting stance is Lofton. Kevin Youkilis should have some hair. His new appearance: Face 4, Hair color 3, Hair style 3, Facial hair 1 What else is being done in order for the next version to be considered ready? I'd be more than happy to help as usual, especially since this upcoming release could very well be my dynasty rosters. I know there's a lot of simming going on to ensure realism, so a rough estimate or update would be very much appreciated.

Do you know how to do that? If not, there is a tutorial out there on how to do so. If you PM me, I can send you the file as dat files if you do not know how to use MVP edit. cybernetic
Jays: with Gaudin and Bush down in AAA the starting rotation is now Halladay Towers Lilly Chacin Walker bullpen LR: Downs MR: Chulk, Speier, Schoenweis SU: Frasor CP: Batista Although Batista is rumored to be on the trading block and won't last much longer with the team.. Frasor or Speier will likely be moved to the closer's role after that move is made

Millennium
Orioles Change: RP Chris Ray (on AA Bowie in the rosters, should be called up and RP John Parrish should be sent to AA) should have his change-up changed to a splitter. It is his third best pitch (His slider is his out pitch, and his fastball is his plus pitch), and hit has decent movement, but he lacks control with it. It comes in around 86-88 mph. Totte
Some minor player changes: San Antonio Missions (AA) player Rene Rivera doesn't have any facial hair. Trenton Thunder (AA) player Melky Cabrera should be hispanic instead of white. Trenton Thunder (AA) Erold Andrus should be black instead of hispanic. Totte
I hate to do this but do we have a potential release date set for version 2.4? There's a lot of buzzing regarding this and I'd love it if Illmac or Hypnoxxx could give us and update on where they stand right now. Just to end all specualtion once and for all since there's a bunch of us waiting for 2.4 to start our dynasties. In the meantime, keep playing the game to find any potential errors with batting stances, skin colors, hair colors etc. Put some extra attention to the minor leagues 'cause that's where most of the errors are lurking. Thanks for listening, all of you
Totte
High Desert Mavericks (Royals A-team): Darren Fenster - remove the facial hair B.Groves - change blonde hair to brown Chris Lubanski - change brown hair to blonde Mel Stocker - change white skin color to black Justin Gemoll - change black skin color to white Brennan King - change to blonde hair Colt Griffin - remove the facial hair Nate Hoelscher - change hispanic skin color to white, remove the facial hair, chnage hair color to blonde Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Braves A-team): Diory Hernandez - change skin color from black to "light black" (hispanic?) Scott Schade - his picture shows a swith hitting helmet although he's just hitting righthaned in the game. Should he be changed to a switch-hitter? Paul Bush - change red hair to brown Ralph Roberts - change skin color from white to black, he should have black hair Wes Leston - change skin color from black to white, he should have blonde hair and no facial hair Miguel Bernard - change skin color from black to "light black" (hispanic?) HypnoxXx
I guess it's time to assume the obvious--- llcmac is dead. Unfortunately for all of us, llcmac was the last person working on these rosters, not me. So to the best of my knowledge, it is quite possible that NONE of the changes that have been requested or posted since version 2.35 have been applied. So where do we go from here? Well it's simple really. I don't have a heck of a lot of time on my hands, so I need someone who is really bored and really dedicated to these rosters to do us all a huge favor and gather up ALL suggestions that have been made since version 2.35. It'll be a lot easier for me to get Ultimate Rosters off of life support and back on its feet if I have a comprehensive list of all the changes that need to be made in front of me.
