HypnoxXx
For all those wondering, I HAVE given permission to shmooz to release his version of URP with the models.big. DKrause also has my permission to release his version as well. And I will continue to work on the "original" too. Eventually I plan on handing over the project to someone else anyway and just being the guy who says yay or nay to a new idea or big change. x94blair3
I don't think you get it- Unless its from the Current rosters makers they don't want it. I am not bashing anyone here- just saying thats how it is. I have had a set based on v2.35 with all the changes on here (many of which i posted), most the 2005 round 1 draftees and changes based on real life splits and haven't had a single PIM. I mean its all ready to go just sitting here. I haven't released it in a post or on a site because i am waiting for hypoXxX approval but i would pass out a few via email or PM so i can get feedback to improve it further. Even if you thought it sucks it would be something to play until 2.4 came out- Same goes for the set Big Shoomz made. Don Since you have permission, are you planning on releasing a set? Yours seems ideal for a PS2/Xbox conversion (which I'm hoping for )
dkrause
Since you have permission, are you planning on releasing a set? Yours seems ideal for a PS2/Xbox conversion (which I'm hoping for ) The url for the PC files which have a handful more tweaks- i believe i tweaks sheets some, O cabrera, added Carl Henry, Dustin Kelly, stuff like that http://www.krausesports.com/2005Update.zip Batting stances and pitching deliveries for the round 1 guys i especially could use some feedback. For those who want X box or PS2- i'll need someone to convert them. my email is dkrause71@gmail.com if you want to email something. Don

Now I just need permission for Jogar84 & Tribetime. Other cyberface makers don't seem to actually hang out at this site, so I can't ask their permission. I am going to release the Models.big with the roster if I get permission of those two cyberface makers. If the ones who make uniforms give me permission I will release an even better version. Totte
Stepping up in the absence of Hypnoxxx I need you guys to help us out with the rosters in order to make version 2.4 even better. I want you to play minor league games and look for errors regarding the players appearances. I'm mostly thinking about skin color, facial hair and hair color/hair styles. I've found that the easiest way to do this is to play minor league games between teams that Hory has covered in his Total Portraits packs. Every time a player steps up to the plate and his photo shows up, compare the photo to the appearance of the player that is actually standing at the plate. Take notes of any errors, I.E. the player photo shows a white dude and the guy at the plate is black. The release of version 2.4 is approaching and we want it to be the best ever so please help us out with this. Thanks!
Stix
When you set the defesive alignment for the Braves, make it Kelly Johnson in LF and Ryan Langerhans in RF. Although Brian Jordan is still getting playing time, there is no pattern and the number of times he is starting is dwindling. So put LF-Johnson RF-Langerhans. Also Johnson and Langerhans ratings need to be upped a bit. Johnson was NL player of the week last week batting like .455 with 3 homers. I know his current average is only .246 but that's because he started out the season slumping. Langerhans needs to be low 60's and Johnson needs to be high 60's(that may be a bit high for both of them, but I think it sounds about right; someone contradict me on that please). Also relief pitcher Chris Retisma needs to be alot better in the game he's way better than Kolb is in real life and not close in the game. Chris' stats are 1-2, 2.88 ERA, 6 saves 24K's, 6BB, in 34.1 IP. He is slowly stepping into the closers role, pitching usually the 9th and sometimes part of the 8th. He needs to be upped ratings wise and Kolb needs to be downed.
The Yankee Faithful
When is the next version coming? If there isn't, then Hynoxx I have a quick favor to ask. Can you release Version 2 again just with 1 Minor Change. Make Sean Henn (Yankees/ AA Tampa) WHITE AND HEAVY. You have him as black and skinny, and you can't edit it. Thanks :wtg:

Thanks :wtg: I don't want to rush Hypnoxxx in any sort of way but if we continue to work in this tempo with as much time on our hands a we've had the past few days it'll be out within two weeks. It might be released earlier, only time will tell. Regarding version 2 with Seann Henn you're gonna have to wait til' the middle of next week when Hypnoxxx gets back from his trip. Another solution is if you search the download archives here at the site and download version 2.0 along with MVPedit and make the changes yourself. I can tell you this about version 2.4: It's going to be totally awesome with fully updated star power ratings for EVERY team along with some of your wishes since 2.3. Of course we'll bring you updated transactions and much more in this update too so if you're waiting to start a dynasty, wait til' 2.4. You won't regret it! Thanks :wtg: He's correct in version 2.35. If you guys are working on the next version of UR, I would suggest importing my Yankees rosters again and contacting me before making any changes, because the last version that was imported were pretty FUBAR. Shelley Duncan had no power, Tim Battle didn't have as much speed as he should, Chien-Ming Wang's 2 seam fastball was only as good as his changeup and Christian Garcia's nasty knuckle-curve only had a movement rating of 4. These are all quite horrible errors, and there are more, but I don't really feel like listing them, since I would have to compare them all with my own version. It's probably best you re-import them all and start again, since it will save time in the long run.

Totte
I need someone that knows the Dodgers single-A team, Vero Beach Dodgers from the inside-out. I just scanned them through and a lot of players seem to have the wrong skin color. Could anyone check this through based on version 2.35? It'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! big shmooz
This is not really a batting stance. However this also needs to be adjusted. Vargas of the Diamondbacks does not wear number 45. He wears 29 (no matter what the MLB site has him wearing., it's wrong)
big shmooz
Rodney of the Tigers should have a changeup which he throws at 81 - 82 miles per hour. It has a drop motion (12 to 6) He has pretty good command of the pitch.

lilfisch
UPDATE The Padres added some veteran insurance, signing pitcher Pedro Astacio to a minor league contract on Thursday. Source: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2097949 Relievers Mike Stanton and Paul Quantrill became the first victims of the New York Yankees' roster shakeup. The ineffective relievers were designated for assignment Thursday, giving the Yankees 10 days to trade them or place them on waivers. New York will fill their roster spots by recalling outfielder Bubba Crosby from Triple-A Columbus and purchasing the contract of left-hander Wayne Franklin from the Clippers Source: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2098031
