superfan
Are all of these roster updates that are available for PS2, (Ultimate Roster project) only available at mvplanet.com, or is there a way I could get the next update on this ite, because I give up on trying to register at mvplanet.com, because I can't get registered there, evertime I try i get an error. So I am asking if anybody here on this site can post the roster download for Ps2 max drive on this site, it would be a great help to me a lot, thanks. We release the roster for PC and then there's this guy called Kraw that converts them to PS2 for us. I think he uploads them to this site but if he doesn't, he sends the PS2-files by e-mail to whoever that wants it.

There are some ht/wt changes being made by numbers and tons of changes with the players bone profile. A lot of work has been put into correcting the skin color errors in the minors and we've had a huge list to work on. Most of the minor league transactions are in there but no first rounders. What about first round guys like Joey devine for the Braves that have signed and are teams that are in the game? Devine is playing for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Also John Foster's number should be 46, not 48.
Totte
Stephen Drew is on the D'backs single-A. He's the only one I know but HypnoxXx might have added some other guys.

Ernest
will the next update look like the one that big smooze have ,w/ a models.big file ?
butthead182
Sorry to be nonspecific, but i meant like cyberfaces of all of the minor league players, as in like the top 100 prospects and other minor leaguers in the game, so they no longer have the stupid ea sports made faces
Totte
There won't be any presets or anything for cyberfaces meaning version 2.4 won't include a models.big file. I don't know if HypnoxXx is a member of that site and/or if he runs it.
butthead182
Oh, ok. Do you know of any rosters for the ps2 that have cyberfaces for all of the minor league players??
Totte
Oh, ok. Do you know of any rosters for the ps2 that have cyberfaces for all of the minor league players?? I'm sorry but I don't know. I run the game on PC myself so I'm not that into the downloads available for PS2. As far as I know, Big Shmooz's rosters are the only ones with implemented cyberfaces. AI03
NYM suggestion: If possible, I think Brian Daubach's hitting should be bumped up (They're all in the 40s). He's a career .260 hitter, who hit 20 hr from 99-02. In Norfolk (AAA): 103 AB, .388 AVG, 8 HR, 29 RBI, .448 OBA I also feel his defensive ratings should be boosted a little bit. After all, he is playing over Doug Mienktiewz. He has a .990 fieldpct as a 1b.

Cavicchi
I have a question for you all, can Frank Thomas still be considered Super? He is 37 and really declining in both BA and homers. Just look at his stats: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/stats?statsId=4527
jumbohky10
8 hrs in 55 ab's doesn't seem bad to me, i know he's only hitting .218 but he's only had 55 ab's, he also hit 18 hrs in 255 ab's lasr year, and 42 in his last full season just two years ago, wanna talk about a player who is declining look at randy johnson, i'd take thomas over any 1B on both the yanks and red sox. Totte
If I'm not mistaken Frank Thomas is still rated as "Super" on 2.4.
Hory
i don't think messing round with Major Leaguers ratings is neccessary at this point unless you are going to go through and re-rate every single major leaguer. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The difference is Randy Johnson has had 2 Super years from 2002-2004: 2002 Ari 35 35 8 4 260.0 197 78 67 26 71 334 24 5 0 0 -- 2.32 2003 Ari 18 18 1 1 114.0 125 61 54 16 27 125 6 8 0 0 -- 4.26 2004 Ari 35 35 4 2 245.2 177 88 71 18 44 290 16 14 0 0 -- 2.60 2003 is obviously one you can throw out. Frank Thomas the last 3 years: 2002 CWS 148 523 77 132 29 1 28 92 88 115 3 0 .252 2003 CWS 153 546 87 146 35 0 42 105 100 115 0 0 .267 2004 CWS 74 240 53 65 16 0 18 49 64 57 0 2 .271 I don't believe in downgrading a guy based on this year's performance, but rather their last 3 years. The ratings are very important because EA's progression system relies heavily on how a player is rated. Randy Johnson is not of any real concern because after simming various seasons over and over again, he retired in 2006 in all but one season.
