Padres trade May, Redding for Quantrill http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2099342 ESPN is not official. Official is when it has been reported and announced by MLB and the clubs involved in the deal. ESPN is, from what I've seen, generally full of the proverbial. MarkB
Ahh...that's a problem. How else would you do them then? In-game and release as a .sav?
Hory
Yuck .sav file definitely not, He'll edit the roster .dat file manually without MVPedit i expect.

krawhitham
Yeah it can be done through MVP Edit...All you need to do is extract and import players if you do it through MVPedit you will have TWO copys of all All-Stars in the roster set and the 2nd set will show up in the FA pool this is a known problem and rglass95 said he would fix it when he got around to it
Cavicchi
I extracted the mbe file to the location but how do I get the DAT files out of that? You can use WinRAR: http://www.winrar.biz/ You replace all .DAT files in the database folder with the files you have in 2.
Cavicchi
Maybe I misunderstood you. If you want to use MVPedit after the .DAT files were replaced, Import the Database folder to MVPEdit and type in a Save name, could be anything you choose like MVP, then you can make changes or just Export back to the Database folder.
