eLMaYiMbE8689 Posted July 14, 2005 Share Posted July 14, 2005 Mariano Rivera definately needs the 2 seamer more then ever....Since the ruff start against Boston he has gone to that 2 seamer more then ever vs. right handed hitters....it has tremendous bite breaking in towards the right handed hitters....Jeremy Burnitz batting stance should be changed back to Burnitz....and Derek Jeter should have elbow guard #2 he has been wearing it since getting plunked by the Mets....Is there a way to add glasses to Francisco Rodriguez from the Angels? and Brandon Webb from i forgot wha team he is on now? Especially happy to see Andrew Dobies on the Wilmington Blue Rocks, nice touch. Couple minor corrections to the BoSox: Dustin Pedroia should keep his athletic body type, I can't even see him with skinny! He's listed at 5'9" but is probably smaller, so at 180 he's fairly stocky for his size. Athletic a must. I'd also consider making him a 4 star prospect along with Papelbon. Kelly Shoppach should have low socks and change his stance to A-Rod. Anibal Sanchez should be the best player in Wilmington. He's since been moved to Portland, starred in the futures game, and is listed on Baseball America's hot prospect list meaning he's moving up very quickly. May be our best pitching prospect overall right now even though Papelbon is closer. David Murphy and Jeremy West of Portland should be more towards the middle of AA instead of the 2nd and 3rd worst players on the squad. Otherwise, they'll be cut after year 1 in a dynasty and are actually fairly decent prospects. Murphy hits 3rd in the lineup and West hits 4th-5th with good power. Murphy is hitting .284 and West is hitting .276. Murphy needs much higher contact and West needs drastically higher power and contact numbers; he's actually performing much better than A ball 1B Ian Bladergroen. Same case for Chip Ambres, Pawtucket's All Star center fielder towards the bottom of their roster in this game. Needs a decent sized contact upgrade hitting an even .300, definitely better baserunning ability and a slightly better arm. Thanks again guys for all your effort and your constant attentiveness. ESPN has a horrible habit of doing these things and many times, it blows back in their faces. In short, I don't want the guys working on this roster to do work on a transaction, fix the rotations and lineups etc., then find out that it's not happening at all and have to undo what they've done.
