Ultimate Roster Project (PC,Xbox,PS2)

Suggestion:

It would be great if you could continue llmac's project he was doing. He was adjusting the ratings for EVERY player, team by team so they could reflect more their real life counterparts. I remember he called it the "accustating" proccess or something like that.

First off, great work....

This may be more for Hory since he is doing the Total Portraits

I noticed an error on Ervin Santana, Anaheim Angels, while I was playing a game against them.

The picture you have is incorrect (its a player from the Omaha Royals). The idea number is correct (according to Tony's ID list), so its just the picture.

He is of darker skin color and the picture w/ an Angels cap can be found at mlb.com

Thanks

An error for the Twins in 2.4 is Jason Bartlett has been in AAA for a while now. Sending down Bartlett bring up Mike Ryan or Luis Rodiguez.

Today the lineup was modified so that it is now

1. Mauer

2. Boone

3. Stewart

4. Morneau

5. Hunter

6. Jones

7. Ford

8. Castro or whoever is playing short

9. Punto or whoever is playing third

You guys did a great job! But I think many players' batting stance are not so correct. Can I join the team for only doing the batting stance part?

There's a thread in the forums for batting stances and pitching deliveries. Post your thoughts there and we'll get to them that way. Or else, make a list and PM it to me.

One correction to this, Ricky Stone should be moved to STL AAA. He was DFA by the Reds a few weeks ago and chose to become a free agent instead, then signed with St. Louis. He pitched his first game for Memphis on Sunday.

While editing UR 2.4 and according to Tony's ID List

I've noticed these ID Corrections (I've only done ANA, ARI and ATL so far)

ARI P Jason Bulger should be 1575, not 7405

ANA C Bobby Wilson should be 3207, not 6039 (I think Hory already mentioned this one)

Today for Minnesota Twins, Michael Cuddyer was brought off DL and Luis Rivas was sent to AAA-Rochester. So in roster send down Rivas and bring up Michael Ryan.

One thing I noticed: L.A. DODGERS SS Cesar Izturis, has fielding 70 or 75 can't remember, I think it is 75, but the guy is the BEST DEFENSIVE SS in the NL, he needs at least 85 and that is not enough. I think these rosters are phenomenal but things like that are a bit scary to discover. I only found out because he was leading the entire league in ERRORS, IMPOSSIBLE. He is an ALL-STAR, hard to just overlook that, can't believe Dodger fans haven't mentioned this yet  Living in the area I have seen all his games the past 2 seasons and this guys needs a cool 90 for Fielding at least.

I made my own set based off the v3.5 is why i haven't been posting on this forum the last few weeks. I have tried to get the set made for xbox and ps2 a few times but i haven't found anyone to do them yet. If i do get someone to do them- i would share them of course.

Currently, i have been hitting the minors ratings hard. Mainly, the players 26+ to get their minors stats closer to real life.

Signed

Popular Kapler returns to Red Sox

In a move that figures to mean as much to the clubhouse as it does to their bench depth, the Red Sox reacquired outfielder Gabe Kapler on Friday night. Kapler, an intense competitor, departed the Red Sox for Japan's Yomiuri Giants less than a month after the World Series-clinching victory over the Cardinals.

However, the right-handed hitter struggled mightily in Japan and was placed on the inactive list by Yomiuri about a month ago. He was waived last week and signed by the Red Sox just a few hours after clearing Japanese waivers.

Upon signing Kapler to a Major League contract, the Sox announced that he was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a lower back strain. That means that the earliest Kapler can be activated by the Red Sox is July 30, which is one day before his 30th birthday. He'll likely go on a Minor League rehab assignment prior to that date.

Rumor is Pittsburgh would also get OF prospect Eric Reed from Marlins

EDIT Its not pending, especially since Pittsburgh (according to ESPN and cbssportsline) was never "really" in talks.

Didn't see this posted, so the two deals the Sox made yesterday are:

Adam Hyzdu from SD for Scott Cassidy

Tony Graffanino from KC for Chip Ambres and Juan Cedeno

Graffanino is wearing # 10 and playing 2nd for the Sox today, and Hyzdu has # 25 and is playing RF.

Also, Alan Embree was DFA'd.
