I'd think dropping some guys that are injured down to A ball or something like that would work. With the Yankees, you could just move some of these guys around to fix it. My policy with injuries is that if an MLB-player goes down and is placed on the DL, he stays on the MLB-roster. I'm not keen on dropping down guys to A-ball beacuase of that. Let's say you're starting a dynasty - would you play Scott Rolen in AAA a few games first to see what he's made of or do you call him up straight away? But maybe that's just me...? I agree but with the Yankees situation it gets a little confusing tho becuz they have like 7-8 starters and prolli 3-4 of those guys wouldnt even be on the team if it wasnt for injuries to others....so in some cases it is better to send guys down to A ball becuz i rather have Al Leiter/Shawn Chacon over Brown/Wright......but like u said maybe thatz just me in this case?..... Totte
There's something wrong with the rosters that makes the game crash when your starting a game, in both dynasty and exhibition. I'm going back to the drawing table so 2.51 will take another day or two. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you

Bosco82
Since Bret Boone was let go by the Twins, Jason Bartlett was called up from AAA Rochester to be the main shortstop moving Nick Punto to second.
jogar84
Yea, there seems to be a problem with most of the rosters released on this site, i keep getting crashed in dynasty mode.
bondsfan25
Marquis Grissom was just released from the SF Giants. Other notes on the Giants rosters: As of URP 2.4, RP Jim Brower was still on the roster but he was released well over a month ago. Also, Jason Ellison, the everyday starting CF for practically the entire season before the recent aqcuisition of Randy Winn, is still only rated in the 50's for contact. I realize he's a rookie and all, but the guy is hitting .276 as a starting CF and is hitting almost .350 against lefties this season. His contact for righties might stink, but a contact against lefties in the fifties makes this guy unusable at the Major League level in this game despite being the leadoff hitter for the Giants for much of the real season. Lance Niekro, another Giants rookie, is also underrated when it comes to his split stats. The URP has him as 60's contact and low 70's power both against R and L. Lance is having a great rookie year platooning at first, but his stats are very split. He's hitting like .340 with 8 of his 10 hrs coming against lefties. His OPS vs lefties is 1.100. He's hitting like .220 with 2 hrs against righties. I'd just suggest raising his contact and power against lefties. Scott Munter. A rookie RP with big league team almost all season now. In 40 appearences he's posted a 2.41 ERA with ZERO HRs against him. He's probably been the Giants best reliever. His best pitch is his sinking fastball, which he throws almost every pitch. The only other pitch he throws regularly is a straight fastball. I'd suggest editing his sinker to make it his best pitch, by a land slide, and make the sinker fast, a few MPH slower than his fastball. By the way, all my comments are in relation to URP 2.4. If any of these changes were made for 2.5, please disregard.

jogar84
I finally got the rosters to work without any crashes from dynasty. If its not too much, Id like to see some changes for the NY Mets, just some stances, etc Beltran- Athletic Cameron, Beltran- Generic Victor Diaz- stocky Floyd- Stocky, big chest Reyes- Mike Lowell batting stance, please increase his throwing strength rating to 14, the kid has a gun for an arm, steal aggressiveness should be 15, (he almost always steal 2nd base) Matsui- range and fielding should be around 5-6 (he's horrible) Eric Valent- Take of 25 man roster, bring up offerman Looper- athletic big chest

Totte
ok, i downloaded the 2.5 version and my game keeps crashing every time i hit a single, can you help plz That's weird. It's the first time I've heard anyone having trouble with the rosters. Go back to 2.4 and try again with 2.51 when I upload it tomorrow.
Totte
ya there is too many free agents, can you please fix this? The max limit on the FA-list is 255 players and I've used all the spots. If you don't fill out the list, the CPU creates players by itself to fill out the list. Also, you can't export the rosters from MVPedit if the the FA-list has over 255 players. This means that crash had to come from somewhere else. I've gone back to my backup-files to work on 2.51 again and so far everything works like a charm. No crashes - just the sweet baseball game we all want to play. Looking at the process, you might say that I have v 2.5 1/2 ready :)

Totte
wagner fastball velocity should be raised from 97 to 99 Billy or Ryan Wagner? I guess you're talking about Billy but I want to be absolutely certain
jdoe899
I'd say keep rollins' contact where it is....he has trouble with contact, and when he hits the ball, its with power not contact, thats why is OBP is so low and he pops up so much... HardcoreLegend
Oh, if we are chaning attributes, don't forget Giambi. 14 HRs in the past month ties a team record. That is, a team with 60% of Cooperstown in it's history. If you are editing Cano, make sure he is only an average bunter. He blew two bunts the other day against Anaheim. Finally, the new rookie CF for the Pirates needs to have his fielding attributes in the upper levels of the league. The kid has made the highlight reels since joining the league, with some of the most spectacular catches a person can make. On the Pirates theme, do not forget about the still perfect Zach Duke.
