by the way, is Wang assigned to minor leagues in 2.52? didn't see him in the major league squad.

thanks!

Wang had to be moved down in 2.52 in order to make room for Al Leiter and Shawn Chacon.

Regarding Jason Giambi: I've increased his ratings a lot over the last updates and I feel that I've hit a fair level now. If nothing unexpected happens he'll stay that way.

i have a question...i heard that 2.5 had some crashing issues...has those been resolved? :wall:

i ask becuase i'm going to start a couple of dyansties sometime in the next 24 hours and don't want a crash and lose everything....

I've run tests on the rosters to see if they'd crash and everything works properly now.

Joey Devine is in the game.

Jeff Francoeurs ratings haven't been changed in a while. I'll take care of that for 2.53. I'm thinking about releasing it today because I have lots of minor things that's bugging me. We'll see what happens...

CBS Sportsline's Rumor Mill reports that:

Left-handed reliever Mike Remlinger, released this week by the Cubs, is hoping to land in Arizona with the Diamondbacks, says the Arizona Republic.

Can anyone confirm that he was released? I couldn't find any info on the story at www.mlb.com

I've uploaded 2.53 and it's waitng for approval. It fixes a lot of minor things that I've noticed myself while playing as well as some of the pointers that's been given here at the forums. All the latest transactions included as well (Remlinger > FA's, Sele > Texas, J.Baldwin > Tex, Halama > Was, Kim > Rockies, Perisho > Bos; among others). Added Aaron Small to the Yankees system 'cause he mysteriously disappeared somewhere between 2.35 and 2.52.

Enjoy!

I few minor league transactions with (current team):

Joe Thurston (Columbus) NYY

Enrique Wilson (Iowa) CHC

Eddie Oropesa (Free Agent)

Jose Leon (Scranton/WB) PHI

Ronald Bay is actually Bear Bay and has a stadium announcement 2706

Cleveland minor league teams have only 23, 20, and 20 players respectively.

More Jays changes:

RH Lineup:

R.Adams - SS

F.Catalanoto - LF

V.Wells - CF

S.Hillenbrand - 1B

C.Koskie - 3B

G.Zaun - C

E.Hinske - DH

A.Rios - RF

O.Hudson - 2B

LH Lineup:

R.Adams - SS

R.Johnson - LF

V.Wells - CF

S.Hillenbrand - 1B

A.Hill - 3B

G.Zaun - C

A.Rios - RF

F.Menechino - DH

O.Hudson - 2B

G.Chacin's- slider.. he doesn't throw one and replace with a sinker. He throws a hard sinker at around 89mph.. 12-6 drop.. about 4-5 movement.. control seems to be the same as his fastball

J.Frasor - doesn't throw a change.. he only throws fastball, slider and curve

R.Halladay - rarely throws a change.. replace with 2-seam fastball, low-to-mid 90's.. I'd give it a 92 velocity with late break on the outside corner to RH (2-8)

J.Towers - throws a 2-seam which is not a great pitch much like his others but he's a control guy.. 2-seam high-80's 2-8 movement probably about the same contol as 4-seam

P.Walker - add splitter which he throws from time to time as his 2nd outpitch to go with his forkball.. high-80s velocity.. control about the same as his other pitches 12-6

AAA:

D.Bush - add a cutter.. high 80s velocity.. slight movement.. control roughly the same as other pitches

B.League - change should be circle changes that breaks down and in to RH (11-5).. League has also been with the Jays since mid-July and hasn't gone down yet

S.Lundberg - blonde, skintone:3, socks:low, glove:lt. brown

- fb, change, sinker, curve, slider

J.Miller - clean-shaven

- add sinker, splitter

F.Rosario - now pitching in relief

- fb, change, slurve, cutter

add Kevin Tolar to the bullpen (he's listed as on TEN in your rosters but he was released and signed by the Jays in July)

G.Gross - high socks.. batting lead-off in front of Nelson now

A.Dominique has been on the DL for quite some time now and really shouldn't be on the active lineup since he is nothing more than the 3rd string catcher with Joe Depastino being the #2 behind Quiroz

AA:

S.Andrade - he should be plump with large body type

- replace change with slider (85 velocity, 10-4)

J.Carlson - fb, change, slider are his three pitches

S.Marcum - actually in AAA

- add slider 86-88 vel, about 5 movement, 50 control

D.McGowan - this guy is actually in the majors now with Toronto

- add cutter 93-95 velocity (his regular fb is 94-97), late break

I.Ramirez - glove: black

J.Vermilyea - should be in AAA

- fb, slider, cutter, change (no curve or split)

C.Baker(AAA) - fb, curve, change, slider

A:

J.Banks - should be in AA

B.Buzachero - add stamina (he will spot start in the 2nd game of DH today).. in AA

J.Gonzalez - I don't know why this guy is even here he's in R ball and missed almost all of last season with injury

D.Purcey - FB, curve, change.. he's in AA now

a lot of guys need to go up to higher levels here especially hitters but a good deal of pitchers but really if you moved them all A ball would be almost empty and those rosters would be over limit due to injured guys

A request: Stop releasing so many updates consecutevely. I think it'd be better to save ALL those changes for a bigger version and let us enjoy one peacefully. I think 2.53 is good enough for a while... then you could release version 3 when the playoff start. Just an idea.

That was my intention so you won't see another update in around 2 weeks.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I've done all of the Blue Jays changes posted.

I just wanted to let you know that even though I gave you a hard time earlier on about the choices you made for DL people, you really are doing a great job with this.
