Shoalzie
Are you sure I should change his 2nd position from DH to LF? Correct. He does DH but with Rondell White out of the lineup, he's played a few games in LF. I'd still put his primary position as 1B. Another quick fix...John MacDonald needs to #36, not #6 (Al Kaline). Shoalzie
All injured MLB-players stay on their MLB-team. There are no such thing as a rehab-assignment in my rosters. If you want put Higginson on the Tigers instead of AAA, I'd understand because he was on the Tigers bench before he was done for the season. Send down Chris Spurling to AAA to make room for him. Carlos Pena and Wil Ledezma were legitimately sent down to AAA but Pena is back up with the Tigers now and is tearing up the Blue Jays (3 HR this weekend). I'd still keep him in AAA unless he stays up with the Tigers for a while longer. Colby Lewis and Gary Knotts both have season-ending injuries but they were pretty much slated for AAA. I'm unsure of Fernando Vina's status with the Tigers. He probably wouldn't be with the big club if he was healthy. You can either put him in AAA or keep him in AA. If you put him in AAA, send down Kevin Hooper. There, enough changes...I hope you're able to get the roster update out for all of us. I don't want to delay this everyone. You're the man! Totte
Correct. He does DH but with Rondell White out of the lineup, he's played a few games in LF. I'd still put his primary position as 1B. I'm thinking about keeping his 2nd pos. as DH. As you said, he's only played a few games at LF. All the other changes have been made and are good-to-go in 2.54. Don
Orlando Hudson's fielding and range really needs to be raised. This guy is strongly considered the 2b A.L. Gold Glove Winner.Especially with Bret Boone not playing anymore. Hudson almost won the Gold Glove last year, i think he was in 2nd place

endeavor
Give me a break, he's pitched 4 games in the majors! While I agree with you Mark B, it must be noted that he is an outstanding talent, and his ratings are indeed a bit too low. You don't need a full pitching season in order to be able to tell if someone is for real. He pitched against great batters and made them look just silly. At 19, he is responsible for the Mariners "wake up" after he joined the rotation. After four very impressive starts, I think it can at least be said that he has a superb outlook in the Majors. :wtg:
bravesj858
no batting gloves for barret, and i'm not sure if this change has been made eariler but burnett does not wear batting gloves. also, if possible, have x. nady have a postion at first base..he's been playing there alot lately. Totte
Version 2.54 has been uploaded and waiting for approval. There's been so many changes since 2.53 that I'd take a while to write them all so I encourage you to download the rosters and see for yourselves. In order to save us all some time: No, the All-Star teams haven't been updated in this version either. It's scheduled for v 3.0 due for release on September 1st. Enjoy the rosters and keep the feedback coming. This might be the last update before the grand finale (3.0) since I haven't decided on a 2.55 yet. I'll answer your questions before I go to work tomorrow morning which should be around 3 pm EST.

lilfisch
I have read a ton of stuff on here about the Detroit Tigers... Carlos Pena is up from the minors and will remain up for the entire year. So he needs to stay on the Tigers. Chris Spurling cannot be sent down to AAA because I was at the Tiger-Jays game yesterday (Troy Percival Bobblehead day) and Spurling pitched. I too would leave DY's 2nd position at DH. Craig Monroe will make a lot more starts at LF than Yong as will Curtis Granderson.
Shoalzie
Two players that need to be up from the minors... Jonny Gomes (OF/DH) Tampa Bay Dan Johnson (1B) Oakland
Shoalzie
Carlos Pena is up from the minors and will remain up for the entire year. So he needs to stay on the Tigers. I agree but who do you send down in his place? You can only have 25 players on the major league roster. Chris Spurling cannot be sent down to AAA because I was at the Tiger-Jays game yesterday (Troy Percival Bobblehead day) and Spurling pitched. I would keep him up with the Tigers but if Totte wants to keep a guy like Higginson, who has been hurt most of the year but is a regular player on the major league roster, you're going to have to send someone to the minors to make room for him. I notice that in 2.54, he has Higginson in AAA. I too would leave DY's 2nd position at DH. Craig Monroe will make a lot more starts at LF than Yong as will Curtis Granderson. I would put him as a DH but is that an actual position that you can choose? When he plays in the field, he plays first and left field. He been the DH 63 times, played first 30 times and played in the outfield 14 times. He's primarily a DH but in the field he's able to play first and left. I certainly wouldn't want him playing left field when I'm using him in a game but just to make it realistic, I'd atleast put it where he's able to play left field. Since you're only able to assign two positions to a player and Dmitri Young is a 1B and he's been a DH for several seasons, I'll stick with what I've got. Shoalzie, I understand your point of view and if you still want to play him at LF I won't be standing in your way. You can always edit his 2nd position yourself inside the game. lilfisch
Bobby Higginson should actually be sent down to Lakeland. He is in his rehab assignment as we speak. He had the option to play with Toledo but turned it down. So he should be sent down. Maybe even percival be sent down due to his season-ending injury. Rondell White may be back for the last week of the year, he may be another option.

eLMaYiMbE8689
Is there a way to make Tanyon Sturtze pitch from the stretch all the time? becuz since switching to the bullpen he pitches from the stretch and change him from a SP to a RP although he is in the bullpen if u start the season n 4get to change him to RP he is unhappy pitching out of the bullpen.....also i noticed tha there r 2 setup slots in the bullpen which of the 2 setup would be the lead one the 1st slot or 2nd slot? and if i were to put someone on the non leading slot would tha make him the 7th inning guy? becuz Sturtze is a like a setup man in his own right but specifically for the 7th not the 8th..... Sturtze is used as a spot-starter so he'll stay a SP. Of course you can change him to a RP yourself if you'd like then... I don't really know about the two SU-spots. I guess you have two setup-men in case player # 1 is tired from pitching too much in the game the night before.
eLMaYiMbE8689
Sturtze is no longer a spot starter....not to make a big fuss out of it but Joe Torre said he is to valuble of an asset out the pen to be used in the starting role which is y at no point thru the season when the Yankees pitchers were dropping like flies did Sturtze start thus the starts by Wang, Leiter,Chacon,Small,Proctor,Henn,Redding, etc. but notice Sturtze never started so he is now soley a RP he is the Yankees 2nd setupman and emergency closer......so he is strictly RP
