Totte Posted October 24, 2005 Share Posted October 24, 2005 I thought that I'd shed a little light on the future of the Ultimate Rosters-series in the shadows of Game 1: - A version 3.15 will be released as soon as the World Series are over. It'll still have the players that've elected free agency on their respective teams along with their "old" coaches (McKeon on the Marlins and Tracy on the Dodgers etc.) ...that'll be the last update of that format because a few minutes after that... - A version 4.0 will be released including "real" free agents as of October 2005 and all the new manager updates (Tracy to the Pirates etc.). In other words, 3.15 will be the rosters for you to use if you'd like to "play the 2005-2006 Season all over again". Totte Posted October 28, 2005 Share Posted October 28, 2005 IMPORTANT QUESTION FOR MY USERS: I've been meaning to update the managers in the enxt release and I've encountered a minor problem that I need you guys to decide what I should do about. While in Exhibition- and Dynasty games, the manager changes are working properly with Tracy coming out to the mound sporting a Pirate-outfit and veryting. No worries for that part. The problem is that if you're running an Owner Mode and view your Organisation Staff, the picture of the former manager and his name are shown instead of the new. So here's the question: Do you guys ever play Owner Mode at all (?) meaning that you'll accept the issue stated above or do you want me to leave the managers at default just like they were in UR 3.14? As it is now, popular clubs like Red Sox, Yanks and Cubs (to name just 3) are wildly overrated. Also if this is the final 05 realease could we have the all-star teams updated too I may have a fix for your manager problem as well, just testing a few things out.
