if you click on Chip Ambres MVPedit crashes

chip has some odd #s in this attributes, like negative #s

If you do not have time to fix it, fire me a copy of your lastest internal beta.

I edited like 10 files and now he is working

Hi Kraw. Ok, that sounds like too much work. It would be nice but it's not critical. Maybe we'll get an update to MVPedit someday.

Sorry to pester but any chance we'll get an XBOX conversion of 5.0 this weekend? Thank you.

he updated MVPedit a few days ago, hope theire will not be another 5 month break before the next one

and yes 5.0 this weekend

- Mike Matthews is a FA

- Manny Aybar is a FA

- Felix Heredia is a FA

- Chris Woodward is still a Met and was offered arbitration so he will be a member unless traded so he needs to be on the MLB bench. For now, take Boone off and put him in AAA

- Brian Bannister will start the season in AAA as he went 4-1 with a 3.18 era in 8 starts after his call-up.

- Jason Scobie started 26 games in AAA as well so he deserves to be at Norfolk.

EDIT!

- Endy Chavez was given a major league contract

I'm aware of this but the FA-list is full and if I release more players from the Mets organisation, they won't have the minimum of 20 players in each level (MLB:25)

That's the standard version plus just the cyberfaces. No uni's or other extras...

Awesome work guys!!! Thanks so much for the great readme's and the Excel file listing the cyberfaces. To me those are almost as valuable as the rosters and models.big files themselves.

Hey Totte, how would I go about fixing the Chip Ambres problem? I'm not sur on how to change the file like Kraw was talking about. Thanks

next release should be fixed, to do it yourself you need to open the DAT files with notepad, search for the player and fix all the out of range numbers

Check a couple of pages back in this thread, we changed the id's of about 60 players who made their mlb debut last year including Duffy

Thanks for the information Hory :wtg:

It's great to have folks like kraw and Hory around to answer questions while I'm away. Thanks you guys :)

Thank you guys for all of you hard work....these are great!!!

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but I just downloaded ultimate 5.0 with umachines unis and noticed some minor issues:

Chase Utley should be cyberface number 345 and Mike Redmond should be 790. They were incorrect in the roster as well as on the spreadsheet that came with the roster.

Also Jason Johnson and Jason Repko have the same cyberface #521 Robinson Tejada and Victor Santos have the same cyberface #599

Luis A Gonzalez and Anibel Sanchez have the same cyberface #827

And, for possible future help, I went through the cyberface file. Here are players that are retired, and could have their cyberface replaced if needed for future updates:

80, 171, 576, 611 are all empty and have no face assigned

Barry Larkin 19

Mo Vaughn 27

Tyoushi Shinjo 35

Larry Walker 44

Andres Gallaraga 97

Mark Grace 102

Ellis Burks 144

Eric Karros 170

John Vanderwal 359

Extra Kaz Matsui 781

Johnny Bench 413

Carlton Fisk 414

Dennis Eckersley 415

Ty Cobb 425

Reggie Jackson 426

Nolan Ryan 427

Mike Schmidt 428

Bob Gibson 431

Rollie Fingers 434

Joe Morgan 437

Robin Yount 440

Rod Carew 442

Brooks Robinson 444

Willie Stargel 449

And finally, these following cyberface numbers are not in the spreadsheet for UR 5.0, but I am not sure who they are (or if they are already in the rosters and just mistakenly left off of the spreadsheet). If anyone could help we may be able to replace some of them as well:

No problem. I had started the list for myself to see where I could add cyberfaces for Phillip Humber, Anderson Hernandez, and Tike Redman, and it kind of snowballed from there. I figured it could be of some help.

Then...how does the standard edition differ from just the updated ultimate roster v 5.0? Or are they exactly the same...whats the plus for?

hi guys!, Totte nice rosters, here some changes that i think it should be done to the NYY:

Johnny Damon: should have Luis Gonzales batting stance.

Hideki Matsui: wears #1 color fielding glove

Jason Giambi: #4 color bat

Robinson Cano: larry walker stance, #4 bat color.

Kyle Farnsworth: black glove, mark mulder pitching delivery, remove splitter and changeup, slider is 11-5 trajectory in the mid 80´s to high 80´s,add a 2seam fastball in the 94-96 range, 4 seamer in the high 90´s, low socks

Octavio Dotel: high socks, no slurve, just a 4 seamer and slider.

Miguel Cairo: change number 3, sosa stance.

Randy Johnson: slider in the 86-87mph range, no changeup (his splitter works as a changeup), 2 seamer in the 89-91 range, splitter with 10-4 trajectory in the 87-88 range.

Wang: remove his 2 seamer for a mid 90´s nasty sinker, no splitter, slider is 10-4, halladay delivery and change with 2-8 trajectory in the 84 range.

Chacon: low socks, 4 seamer in the 89-90 range, 2 seamer in the 87-89 range, curve with 11-5 trajectory in the low 70´s, slider with 11-5 break in the high 70´s, circle change in the low 80´s with 2-8 trajectory, black glove

Mike Mussina: 4 seamer in the 89-91 range, knuckle curve in the high 70´s with 11-5 break, 2 seamer in the same range as 4 seamer, circle change in the low 80´s with 2-8 break, add splitter (same specs as changeup).

Carl Pavano: 4 seamer 91-93 range, 2 seamer in the same range, change up in the low 80´s with 2-8 break (same as the splitter), slider 10-4 break low 80´s.

Jaret Wright: 4 seam 92-94 range, 2 seam same as 4 seamer, splitter in the low 80´s with 2-8 break, slider low 80´s 10-4 break.

Aaron Small: high 80´s 4 seamer, sinker in the 87-89 range, curveball high 70´s 11-5 break, changeup low 80´s 2-8 break, glavine delivery, black glove, medium socks.

also, i think all changeups should have 2-8 or 1-7 trajectory, this is for righties, 10-4 or 11-5 for lefties. i´ve never seen a changeup with 12-6 drop or with a slider like movement (in the big leagues).

metalboy15, I'll have a look over your changes, thanks.

As far as the changeups go, it is very possible to add a lot of break to changeups. Some would say that's the easy part - it's controlling it that's the problem. Some guys can do it though.
