Ultimate Rosters v 5.01 Plus Editions (Quick Fix) have been released

Note: This is a quick fix for the UR Plus editions. This update is in other words just for you who have downloaded one of the following 3 previous rosters:

- Ultimate Rosters v 5.01 Standard Edition Plus

- Ultimate Rosters v 5.01 Standard Edition Plus Umachine's Uni's

- Ultimate Rosters v 5.01 Standard Edition Plus Moser Uni's

If you don't play with the cyberfaces and the models.big by Big Shmooz containing those, go download Ultimate Rosters v 5.01 Standard Edition instead 'cause that's the base roster without any cyberface edits.

Totte....don't know if this is the case in 5.01, but in 5.0 Michael Cuddyer's face shows up as that red face with green letters...or green with red letters...I forget which....

I tried installing his cyberface myself (via Jogar's Twins face pack) but it still shows up that way.

That's weird. He's been assigned cyberface ID 701 just like he should...

Did anyone else experience this?

I see Ultimate Rosters v. 5.01 Plus in the downloads bin, but not standard edition.

Can't wait to see what 06 has to offer. I hope the applications that have been developed such as MVPEdit will still work with the programming.

I may directly cover Ultimate Roster 5.01 roster.dat cover to 5.0 roster.dat? Or directly waits for your Ultimate Roster 5.01 Plus Editions?

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you're saying. If you want to play with cyberfaces, use the models.big from one of the UR 5.0 Plus editions (Standard (just cyberfaces), Umachine's Uni's or Moser Uni's). Use that models.big with the new .dat files from UR 5.01 Quick Fix.

If you don't want to use cyberfaces, just use the UR 5.01 Standard Edition.

Note to all of you that might have missed this: A Plus in the name of the release means that it includes cyberfaces and if specified, some uni's too. No plus = no cyberfaces

Alright now I know what you mean.

UR 5.01 (both versions) work great on my computer. Do you have the new MVPedit 2006.2 'cause that's the one I'm using. I don't know about this but there might be some glitch between MVPedit 2005.4 and MVPedit 2006.2. But there shouldn't be :?

My game keeps crashing while playing an Exhibition game between the Twins and Marlins. Did anyone else experience this?

Try it out with Silva pitching against Vargas. Sub Scott Olsen for Vargas after the 1st inning. The game crashed when Olsen came to the plate. I hit a flyball to RF...black screen!

The Mets have agreed in principle to a deal with pitcher Yusaku Iriki, according to a source familiar with the situation.

Iriki, a 32-year-old righty who spent last year with the Nippon Ham Fighters in Japan, will get a one-year deal which also includes a team option, the source said. The deal, which is pending a physical today, is worth slightly less than $1 million and also includes approximately $500,000 in potential incentives, according to the source.

Iriki is likely to be used as an arm that can start a game or come out of the bullpen, which would provide insurance in both areas for the Mets.

Here are his Japanese stats

He has an option so I see him stasrting off the year in AAA unless he impresses bigtime so if you create him, put him at Norfolk for now. I know nothing else right now so I'd wait to create him. Just keep it in mind, ok?

i'm new at this...... i've heard that there will be no more MVP 2006........ and that the license for MLB players it's exclusive to TAKE2 INTERACTIVE and they won't release a PC GAME... only X-box, ps2, etc.

I only a have a PC so If that it's true,, what can I do?? What other choice do I have??,, does that mean that I can't play with the Yankees or use Bobby Abreu in a Homerun Derby??????
