archrival
Is someone working on adding all of the 2005 stats to UR? I mean full lefty/righty for all batters and pitchers, not just career statistics? I've started on it, I've got the White Sox done. I wrote a script to pull all of the relevant stats from espn.com and made it into a spreadsheet. There's probably an easy way to import those into the dat files instead of hand typing them into mvpedit.
firethebomb
If you tell me how, I'd gladly do the Mets. But again, I need to know how to do a step-by-step process. If anyone wants to tell me, I'd gladly do at least the Mets

Tony3
There are probably updated 2005 stats for UR 5.1. Why don't we just wait?
archrival
There are probably updated 2005 stats for UR 5.1. Why don't we just wait? So that means this has already been done or will be done in the future? I've streamlined it where it takes me only 30 minutes or so to import all of the stats using excel and the script I wrote to rip the stats from espn.com. Royal Blues
I've got a question about the splits. Total plate appearances...is that AB+BB+IBB+HBP+SF+SH, or are IBB included in BB? How exactly does that add up? And one thing I noticed after updating a couple Royals players' hitting stats to '05: the batting average and OBP is off by a point or two. Anybody of you guys experiencing this? Also, where are you finding the SH/SF splits for pitchers (allowed, not batting themselves)?
Pirate
I am having a hell of a time trying to replace a face in the model.big included in the rosters. I crash when that face gos to load, is this a known problem? I am following Big Schmooz's instructions to a tee.

firethebomb
Totte, just wanted to let you know that Aaron Heilman's attributes are a little off. I've provided video to prove my point. Just click the link, go to the multimedia section on the right and click on the 1-hitter. In it, you will see that Heilman can get his fastball up to 95 and that he has excellent movement on his changeup which is his out pitch. http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/tea...layer_id=408310 So... increase velocity on fastball to 94-95 velocity on changeup to 79-80 increase movement on all pitches because really, his movement is an awesome sight! And change his style to style #9 for now. His motion was changed at the beginning of last season. You should see the difference Tell me if you agree
