RedSoxFan
Catcher Bengie Molina's free-agent odyssey is over. The Blue Jays have signed Molina to a one-year, $5 million contract with a $7.5 million mutual option for 2007. Catcher Todd Greene, granted his release by the Padres following their signing of free-agent catcher Mike Piazza, signed a minor-league deal with the Giants on Monday. krawhitham
It is not MY download, all I did was make an installer and do the uploading. Totte & Hory are the driving force behind the project, Big Shmooz made the models.big file, the rest was mods from great modders here at MVPmods. Like I said all I did was the installer and should not get any credit on the overall project that said, Totte will release UR standard and UR plus (lite) when he wakes up, you do not need to download the new mod to get the rosters. JP_Frost
came across a few things. - Jose Molina has Bengie Molina's face in the game. - Manny Delcarmen's skintone is too dark - Piazza has a 90 rating for defense. I hope this was a mistake. Great job though guys!
Totte
- Jose Molina has Bengie Molina's face in the game. I'm aware of this. Someone mentioned that they think Bengie's original CF looked more like Jose and since he didn't have one, I decided to run the sam eface on both of them. - Manny Delcarmen's skintone is too dark. I'll look into this. - Piazza has a 90 rating for defense. I hope this was a mistake. Mistake - I'll check it out. Thanks for the input :wtg:
krawhitham
Piazza has a UR 5.1 13 for fielding 9 for range 12 for arm strength 8 for accuracy EA Default 4 for fielding 7 for range 4 for arm strength 4 for accuracy But if you import him from last season in to MVPedit using lahman's DB his ratings are 15 for fielding 8 for range 6 for arm strength 12 for accuracy sad but true last season he had a FPCT of .997 and a range factor of 1.000 his fpct was 4 best for a catcher in all of baseball, range factor tied for best

krawhitham
I would flip the arm strength & arm accuracy. He does not throw people out but he does not throw the ball away either he is has improved greatly in fielding. He has cut his pass balls down allot, and he does not get errors throwing to 2nd. He just has no arm strength.
JP_Frost
there's actually a cyberface for Jose Molina. It's somewhere in the downloads section. A very good one as well. Piazza isn't a disaster behind the plate, but I think that 90 is way too high. That means he would be a gold glove contender. I'd say that 60-65 is good for him on both range and fielding. Arm strength probably at 55. This is just from the scouting reports I've read and what other people have said about him. I'm by no means a Mets expert -- there are other people on this site who are though.
slikkrikk
Piazza behind the plate is as disasterous as you can get. You guys DO realize that he threw out 10 of 89 runners last season? He's always been horrible, and nowadays he's much worse.

TheMadcap
couple very minor things Totte. In the Phillies farm system AAA Tim Moss should be skin tone 10 not 1 & on their A team Greg Golson should be skin tone 8 or 9 instead of 1. That's all that I noticed, great job. i agree with Frost's ratings for Piazza. It has been widely known, for some years now that Piazza's defense as well as his arm are a huge liability behind the plate.
