Kriegz
For all of my Indians rating changes just check out SS's roster because it's very accurate as far as the Indians go for ratings.

Could you list some of them for Sizemore and Peralta? I don't have the PC version to check SS's. I can't wait for 5.1 to be converted to Xbox. I'm itching to start a new season. Hory
Totte - Here's a few suggestions I have after playing a few games with the current rosters... Drop Curt Schilling's stamina down from 97 to the 80s Jason Kendall's contact rating vs. R should be dropped from '90' he hit .263 v R & .293 vs L last year Cubs batting order needs changing - herky already posted that info. but Please give Ronny Cedeno at least 1 'hot zone' vs R lower his 'miss' ratings and raise his durability a little. Sean Casey contact ratings - 90 vs R 83 vs L Actually a better hitter vs leftys in 05 .298 vs .335 Bernie Williams speed rating of 67 is a little high, I don't think he is faster than Matsui or Cano. Totte
\ said: i like ultimate rosters but some of the attributes just dont seem right. Why don't we make this easy for starters. Please name the players you think are rated to high or low and I'll get to it. It's kind of hard to do something about it when someone just says that the ratings don't seem right. I need you guys to be more specific than that...
bill
\ said: Bernie Williams speed rating of 67 is a little high, I don't think he is faster than Matsui or Cano. Bernie is a bad basestealer and he has lost a step but there is no way Matsui or Cano is faster than he is. Cano, while he has the body profile of a basestealer, has bad foot speed and does not steal at all. I think the high 60s is just fine for bernie. What needs to be tuned up is the power and contact rating on Daric Barton 1b in the A's minor league system. He is a top 10 prospect with Pujols'esque plate discipline. slikkrikk
Hi Totte -- A few things I have noticed playing recently: 1) Eric Gagne's changeup is 89 MPH. I also saw Jorge Julio throw a 89 MPH change. I have no idea who the other players might be, but I'm sure there must be a few more with this error. 2) Jose Cruz Jr had a great average against LHP last season (.350) and in his career, but his power has always come from the right side. Maybe a contact of 70 would be ideal from the left side. 3) Is Hollandsworth THAT good against RHP? I wasn't aware of that. Keep up the good work. :)

mj
I'm back with some more attribute requests. Attribute increases: 1. Ian Kinsler TEX and Josh Barfield SD - Both with no Major League experience, but both are projected to be the starting 2nd baseman for their respective teams. I guess hitting attributes in the high 50's maybe low 60's will be good. 2. Matt Diaz ATL - All of his attributes are in the 40's, he isn't that bad. 3. Chris Ray BAL - Expected to be Baltimore's closer, his pitches should be a little better. He has good stuff. 4. Alex Gonzalez BOS - His fielding stats need to really be bumped up. He's a great fielder. 5. Jeremy Hermida FLA - Hitting attributes should be raised, especially power. 6. Robinson Cano NYY - I know it's been discussed a billion times, but his hitting attributes need to be raised. The problem was everyone said he was only a rookie, but other rookies in the game have attirbutes in the 70's and even 80's. 7. Bobby Crosby OAK - Hitting against lefties needs to be raised. He actually hit lefties better last year. 8. Clay Hensley SD - Had a pretty good season, pitches should be a little better, I think his highest rating for his pitches is 75. 9. Justin Knoedler SF - Hitting stats in the 20's. Someone posted before about him, and he needs to at least be playable in a game. 10. Juan Mateo STL - He needs to be increased a little bit. He figures to be in St. Louis' bullpen this season and needs to be playable. Decreased Attributes: 1. Eric Byrnes ARI - Hitting attributes against lefties needs to be dropped some. He's good against lefties but not in the 90's range. 2. Andruw Jones ATL - Ok, he hit 50 home runs this year. But he only hit .263, his contact stats need to really be lowered, power can stay the same. 3. LaTroy Hawkins BAL - Pitching stats need to be lowered. He just isn't that great. 4. Curt Schilling BOS - Stamina decrease. 5. Adam Dunn CIN - Keep the power the same. Decrease the contact stats alot. 6. Wily Mo Pena CIN - Power against lefties should be dropped. He's like an automatic HR against lefties in the game. 7. Mike Lamb HOU - Not that good of a hitter. 8. Julio Franco NYM - Still a good hitter, but contact attributes should be lowered into high 70's. 9. Steve Finley SF - Can't hit like he used to. Needs to be decreased ALOT against righties. 10. Larry Bigbie STL - Needs his contact against righties lowered alot. 11. Phil Nevin TEX - Hitting stats against lefties should be dropped ALOT. Starters in Minors that weren't in the Majors last year: Macay McBride ATL, Brandon Medders ARI, Brad Thompson STL. Ok, thanks for listening. Take these into consideration. Phatferd
Lackey throws a Slurve not a Slider Brandon Wood should be a Baseball America top 100 player. Howie Kendrick is in AA not A, he may even be in AAA.

teeds
Totte, I've made a list of 76 players that should probably be added to the roster set. These were mostly based off of each teams Top 10 Prospect lists from Baseball America so scouting reports will be readily available. I know the FA list is full but many teams have roster spots available in the minor leagues. And I figured a few guys in FA could be deleted anyways since their careers are basically over. After quickly checking the FA, these guys should be deleted-Fred McGriff, John Rocker, Dave Crouthers, Omar Daal, John Franco, Rickey Henderson, Ray Lankford. Of course there are probably others but this is a start. I'm bogged down in school work for the next day or so, I'll send the list afterwards. Here are a few transactions/additions that can be made. J.R. House- HOU AA (he can be imported from the default roster, he quit baseball to play college football and has since returned to baseball) Mike Holtz- BOS AAA (he may have been in MVP 2004 and can be imported from there) Jairo Garcia OAK AAA - (real name is Santiago Casilla, up his age by three years) Miguel Cabrera FLA - primary pos. should be 3B now. don't recall if you have changed it yet. Joey Hammond BAL AA -> PHI AAA Remove Luis Lopez 1B from BAL minor leagues, they signed Luis Lopez the 2B/SS Also James Johnson BAL AA should be J.J. Johnson (it was J.J. on the last couple of versions and in 5.2 it's James - don't know what happened there)
