Version 5.3 will soon be uploaded and here are some things to keep in mind.

This is just a BETA-version looking ahead at my Opening Day rosters.

x Transactions are up-to-date as of March 26th, 5 pm ET.

x This update is not compatible with the models.big file available for download or the MVP06 Project. (The rosters work but you won't see the updated cf's if combined).

x A lot of new prospects has been added to the minors but there's still a lot of work to. (I aware that some of the Tigers and Royals prospects you've wished for aren't in this update but they'll probably end up in 6.0 Opening Day)

x Ana-AAA, Cle-AAA, NYM-AAA, and Sea-AA don't have the minimum 10 fielders that are required so you'll get a warning about this in the rosters screens.

Looking ahead at the Opening Day-rosters, here are some of the I've got planned:

Make the following transactions:

•Move Cam Reimers from Toronto Blue Jays AA-team to the Boston Red Sox roster (Minor League Contract).

•Move Keoni De Renne from the Arizona Diamondbacks A-team to the Boston Red Sox roster (Minor League Contract).

•Create and add LHP Mike Holtz to the Boston Red Sox roster (Minor League Contract).

•Move 1B Hee-Seop Choi from the LA Dodgers to the Boston Red Sox roster (Claimed off waivers)

•Move Justin Echols from the Free Agent list to the Washington Nationals roster (Minor League Contract)

•Import and add Scott Mullen to the Atlanta Braves roster (Minor League Contract)

•Import and add OF Mark Quinn to the Chicago White Sox roster (Minor League Contract)

•Import and add Alex Herrera to the Detroit Tigers roster (Minor League Contract)

•Import and add Joe Dickerson to the Kansas City Royals roster (Single-A)

•Import and add Angel Sanchez to the Kansas City Royals roster (Double-AA starter)

•Import and add Mac Suzuki to the Oakland Athletics roster (Minor League Contract)

•Delete players from the Free Agents list.

•Marcus McBeth (OAK Hi A) Converted from OF to Pitcher?

•Mike Stodolka – (KC Minors) SP -> 1B?

•Matt Tupman (KC) A > AA

•Chris Lubanski (KC) A > AA

•J.P. Howell (KC) AA>AAA

•Look at the “Best Tools†section for each team and update the ratings accordingly.

•Update the lineups.

On a last note:

I don't mean to whine about this or anything but considering the amount of time I'm putting into this, my own free family time, I encourage you guys to contribute by donating to my PayPal-account. Considering that ALL of your donated money will go to the Swedish Children’s Cancer Foundation I don't see why you shouldn't contribute. Every dollar counts in the end and could make a difference! Mets:

- Jeremy Hill is not a starting pitcher

- Glavine gets the opening day nod so put him as #1 and for now, Pedro as your #2. Zambrano may in fact pitch the second day

- Fortunato pitched in a AA spring training game two nights ago so I'm sure thats where he will start.

- Juan Padilla is out for the season and will have tommy john surgery.

- Iriki and Feliciano should be in the Mets MLB pen for now.

- Jose Parra is out for the year

- Matsui will miss at least the first three weeks of the season and maybe even six so bring up A. Hernandez and put Matsui in AAA for now.

- Nady will hit 7th, not 8th behind Franco when the DH is on

There are quite a few more with the minors but I'll wait till it gets closer to the season for those complaints

NICE JOB though :)

I thought I was dealing with suggestions and not complaints over here...?

I guess I can understand why people would want rotations, lineups and such to be perfect, but my view on it is that the cpu just messes with them from the first day you start a dynasty/owner mode, so they're not that important to me. I don't know where I'm going with this, but there you have it. ;)

Thanks for your input...I couldn't agree more :wtg:

Some New changes for STL Cardinals

LF Larry Bigbie on DL for the first 4 weeks of the season

It's suspected Chris Duncan might stay in the majors and play LF

or Skip Schumaker come up and play and Duncan go to Memphis

and learn the OF position better.

just some thoughts and good roster Totte

Just curious what this means Totte?

Does this have something to do with that Top Prospects suggestion I made? :) I hope? :)

I guarantee that NEITHER of them will be starting in left field. It will be either So Taguchi or John Rodriguez (J-ROD)

It would be So Taguchi over J-Rod, John has pretty poor fielding skills and needs to work on his baserunning ability as well. He has power just cannot

hit the curveball well.

Taguchi is overall a pretty good player, and Chris Duncan they wanted

him to go to Memphis for the season and play outfield. Skip Schumaker

can play LF, CF, and RF well and is a very good baserunner.

So it's a coin toss right now but I am going with Taguchi/Schumaker/J-Rod

probably taking turns playing the position knowing how LaRussa manages.

Then again John Gall, J-Rod, Taguchi took turns playing last year when the Cards had soo many injuries I forgot about Gall.
