Here are Grady Sizemore's contract details

" The deal breaks down like this: $1 million signing bonus, $500,000 this year, $750,000 in 2007, $3 million in 2008, $4.6 million in 2009, $5.6 million in 2010 and $7.5 million in 2011.

The option year is worth $8.5 million and includes a $500,000 buyout. It can increase to $10.5 million if Sizemore earns all his incentives. "

Also, Brandon Phillips is going to be traded from the Indians. Ramon Vazquez will be the utility infielder. Kelly Shoppach is the backup catcher over Einar Diaz. Danny Graves is the 7th guy in the bullpen and Jason Davis will be in the bullpen at AAA Buffalo. Todd Hollandsworth has the 4th outfielder spot locked up but it isn't completely official yet. Jason Dubois will be at AAA Buffalo.

Eddie Coleman made it out to be this way. And no, I am not SURE but I think willie does prefer to keep Delgado and Floyd together. I'd love Wright to bat inbetween but he hasnt all spring and isnt today.

do you want to stick with that and say that is going to be the opening day 06 mets? it would make sense to put wright between delagdo and floyd. but im not a mets fan. i wouldnt really know.

come on guys! 28 teams left!

No, because I'm hoping Willie realizes that when he does this, he will hit 3 lefties in a row (Beltran, Delgado and Floyd) and that's not good baseball when you have a right-handed hitter like Wright.

Royals' pitcher Steve Andrade's number is finally posted - 39.

For anybody interested:

Pitcher Zack Greinke is still undergoing counseling for personal matters in Orlando, Fla.

"I talked to him the other day and he's doing well. He's progressing and he's kind of anxious to get back," general manager Allard Baird said. "We don't have a timetable yet."

When Greinke does return, he'll have to be on a rehabilitation assignment in the Minor Leagues.

And here's how the roster appears to be shaped up:

Starting rotation:

Elarton

Mays

Affeldt

Bautista

Hernandez (on 15-day DL)

Bullpen*:

Burgos (CL)

Dessens

Sisco

Wood

Gobble

Peralta

Andrade

Lineup:

DeJesus

Grudzielanek

Sweeney (DH)

Sanders

Mientkiewicz

Brown

Teahen

Berroa

Buck

Bench:

Bako

German

Graffanino

Stairs

Costa

*Two from the bullpen will probably be sent down to Omaha once Hernandez and MacDougal return from the DL. Hernandez will be the 5th starter, and MacDougal will resume his role as closer.

On another note, I still haven't been able to find any info/scouting on any of the guys you've asked for :(

And as RedSoxFan already posted, the Astros did trade for McEwing, and it will be for a player to be named.

STL Cardinals

IF Deivi Cruz has been Released

Chris Duncan has been optioned AAA-Memphis, will be an everyday Outfield player. (Change his position from 1B to LF or RF)

John Gall has been optioned AAA-Memphis

That leaves Players battling for outfield position is Skip Schumaker and John Rodriguez, and Infield position is Scott Spiezio, Aaron Miles, and Hector Luna.

That is 5 players and they have only four roster spots.

3 Pitchers is battling for 1 bullpen spot, that leaves:

Josh Hancock

Brian Falkenborg

Alan Benes.

They should be narrowing it down soon...
