Bama
It really sucks that the previous versions of UR were converted for PS2, but the big Opening Day update was not. It seems like Kraw got upset cause Totte allowed somebody else to convert the rosters to XBox, so he took his ball and went home. Hopefully we can get to enjoy version 6.1 somehow... And at the time when 5.2 wasn't created, people were bitching that they wanted those created right away. Kraw would have converted him, but sadly, Kraw's got a life outside of MVP Baseball. He converted them on his own time, and got bitched at for that, yet he still kept on converting them. Finally, some guy at OperationSports, I believe, offered to convert the rosters from now on so Kraw doesn't have to do them anymore. If you want the rosters so badly and have 5.2 it doesn't take much to edit them yourself.
freshprince85
totte, have one for you: chris capuano, who pitches for the brewers, added a cut fastball to his stuff Yahoo Sports"]Apr 6 Adam McCalvy, of Brewers.MLB.com, reports Milwaukee Brewers SP Chris Capuano gave up one run in six innings of the team's win Wednesday, April 5. He has been experimenting with a cut fastball and threw six or seven. He plans to keep throwing the pitch this season.
jcaponio
First off, there is no version 5.2 for PS2 that I am aware of, at least not on this site. I'm not complaining that the guy hasn't done them right away, I'm just saying that he made it a point to announce over on OS that he wasnt doing them anymore for PS2 just because somebody did the conversion for XBox. Then he said he was gonna start doing conversions for a different roster set. Nobody offered to do the conversions from now on for PS2, so I'm not sure where you got that from. Im sure hes a great guy and appreciate his work on previous versions. But enough about him. Hell, I'm sure it cant be that difficult to convert these things. Is there certain software that is needed? I volunteer to do it if someone lets me know how....
Tony3
Try this two: PS2 Roster Modding Modify Max Rosters for PS2, turning into MBE file? like Five said: It's a "complicated" process, but it can be done. take a pc dat roster convert it to the database.big file make an iso of your ps2 disc, export the lba locations to a text file compare your database.big file to the one on the disc and figure out how much bigger the new one is over the old one. you need to calulate how much the the lba location of all the files need to be moved (the bigger database.big file) and hand edit the lba location (the test file) and move each file that is on the disc after the database.big all the same amount (if the lba size is 15 different add 15 to all the files after the database.big file there is only about 400 files on the disc after the database.big file now find a PS2 dvd image maker and recreate the image (you will load the lba text file within that program) burn disc Good luck

jcaponio
Thanks for the info Tony3, but I looked at it and the conversions are beyond my capabilities. So I guess we're screwed unless somebody smarter than me takes a crack at it.
sully04
First off I want to thank everyone involved in this project. These rosters are everything that every sports game fan hopes for. Im not an expert in these sorts of things, but I am an avid Twins fan, and I have some things you could look at. Tony Batista's batting stance fits generic 3 almost perfect and if you can't use that the open stance might be better than then one he currently has, also he's wearing the number 77 for the Twins. Francisco Liriano is wearing the number 47, and his pitches are wrong. Liriano from what I've seen uses three pitches a fastball 93-95 mph, a good change, and a good slider at about 91 mph. I don't know about the other 2 pitches he has on your update, but those 3 should be his best pitches. Again Thanks for all Your work

Totte
Hey Totte, have you actually been paying attention to the lineups and rosters I provided for The Mets minor league teams? Just want to make sure Sorry but I haven't had time yet. Had final exams in Marketing yesterday + a lot of other stuff... I'm actually sitting down with the rosters today though
Totte
Hey Totte. First of all I want to just say thank you for all the hard work that you have put into these rosters. I also wanted to thank you for including my Phillies cyberfaces in Big Shmoozes models.big. Critisism does not follow, I promise I simply wanted to ask you if the 81 open face slots in the models.big file are being used for any faces or if they are available for use? I am filling out my models.big & wanted to know if I can add faces to those slots. I wasn't sure if it better to ask you or Big Shmooze so I figured I'd ask you both! Thanks again Totte. First of all, the cyberfaces are great bro' Keep up the good work :wtg: Big Shmooz is actually the one in charge of the models.big and open slots. I can't see how it would do any harm adding more cf's if there are open slots but you better hold off untill Shmooz can answer that himself. Totte
Did B.J. Surhoff and Steve Reed retire?
TekWWFan
Not sure about Steve Reed....the O's cut him mid-season last year, and he never resurfaced. Surhoff was non-tendered, so I think he did retire...I know he was contemplating it last year. There's always a chance after MAy 1 he could resurface, but it would only be for the O's. Any other O's questions? Is there a Sendy Rleal CAP, since he made the roster out of spring training? He was on the ORioles Double-A team last year.
