Hey All

Being a big time Mets fan and with the lack of good quality baseball games on the market i am considering rebuying MVP 05 which was the best baseball game i have ever played. Anyway i see all the great mod work done here and i am curious before i bhuy the game again how the ultimate rosters version of the Mets came out?

Did it have Bannister, Adrian Hernandez?

Any Fan that can give me some info

Thanks

SOMEONE SAID I SHOULD POST HERE AND ASK TOTTE?

Great rosters as usual, but here are some Tigers notes-

Tigers resigned Matt Mantei to a minor league deal

Ramon Santiago's number is 39

Bobby M. Jones (white sox org.) is on the Erie Seawolves

Nate Cornejo, Byron Gettis, and Nelson Cruz are no longer in the Tigers organization

Also I dont beleive that mike bynum is in the tigers organization either, but cannot confirm.

Here's a HUGE problem. I am pretty sure I installed these rosters perfectly, because the Yankees have Damon, A's have Frank Thomas etc etc.

Just looking at the A's I see that Hatteberg is still on the roster when he should be on the Reds, Marco Scutaro and Dan Johnson are both in the minors, and a whole bunch of other problems.

Is this happening with anyone else, cause this seriously needs to be fixed if so.

Totte, it seems as though none of the info I have been giving about the Mets minor rosters were incorportated into this new version so I will give you an up-to-date list so that maybe next time, it will make it. All rotations are in correct order as are the lineups. I realize some players are not created or some are replaced by better prospects in lower A ball so do what you want with that.

Norfolk:

Rotation

Lima

Gonzalez

Scobie

Maine

Iriki

Bullpen

Bell

Wylie

Fortunato

Ring

LaVigne

Schmoll

Perez

Feliciano

Milledge RF

Keppinger 2B

Tejada DH

Lambin 3B

Aldridge LF

Self 1B

Ramirez CF

Basak SS

Martinez C

Clements C

Hietpas C

Navarette 3B

When not using a DH, let Tejada play first and bench Self. If a reliever needs to be dropped, just let Schmoll go to AA.

Also, Kazuo Matsui should start at AAA Norfolk so place him at short and switch him with Basak until he gets promoted which could be sooner or later. Who knows?

Binghamton:

Pinango

A. Garcia

Camacho

Maldonata

Urdanata

Cordova

Lineup

Gomez CF

Batista 2B

A Wilson DH

Harper 1B

Ragsdale SS

Caliguiri 3B

Malek RF

J. Padilla LF

Y. Garcia C

Bench

E. Cruz 2B

St. Lucie:

Rotation

Pelfrey

Soler

Sanchez

Humber

Devaney

Bullpen

Vasquez

Muniz

E. Alfonzo

R. Paulk

R. Cova

M. Perez

Coronado SS

Concepcion CF

Carp 1B

Peterson 3B

Flores C

Turay LF

Hill DH

Coultas 2B

Coles RF

J. Peterson

J. Malo

Now I know all players will not be created but at least you know where the players that you do have need to go and for the names you don't, just filter them between the teams to fill needs.

Angel updates beginning season:

McPherson down to AAA

Gregg down to AAA

Salmon to ML

Izturis to ML

Lineup/batting order should be most of the time:

Figgins 3B

Cabrera SS

Guerrero RF

Anderson LF

Erstad CF

Rivera DH or Salmon

Kotchman 1B

Molina or Mathis C

Kennedy 2B

I get a strange crash. Whenever I try to change a player's jersey number by more than 13 digits it crashes. For example: a player has number 2 and I want to change it to 16, it will crash at 15.

I'm using the UR version before the latest (I belive it's the opening day one) along with Shmooz' models.big that was uploaded before his latest and I'm using Kc's 1.07 version.

Otsuka is the setup man and Fabio Castro should replace Nick Regilio in the majors.

Theres some of their top prospects missing that I can give you info on if you would like.

I'm not a Mets-fan myself but as the modder of this project, I can say that Hernandez, Bannister, Maine, Keppinger, Ring, Bell, Lindstrom, Gomez, Milledge, Carp, Pellot, Butera, Pelfrey, Coronado, Concepcion, Garcia, Henry, Lavigne, Maclane, Parnell, Reyes and a bunch of other guys are on the Mets-rosters.

You're the only one with this issue (at least you're the only one reporting it).

There's no way you've installed the roster correct if you still have Scutaro and Johnson down in AAA and Hatteberg on the A's.

Please try again

Do you just update it by looking at transactions? Because lots of moves slip by the cracks....

The whole set still desperately needs to be double-checked with the current rosters on mlb.com - there are tons of major leaguers with the wrong numbers, and who are in the minor leagues...

I would think just matching the rosters up to the current 25 man rosters and correcting the jersey #'s would be the first step to making updated rosters.

It's all in the works, and I'm sure you can understand why it's nearly impossible for everything to be even close to 100% accurate. Lots of people put in a lot of hours trying to make this as accurate as possible, but it will never ever be 100% correct.
