Totte
Do you just update it by looking at transactions? Because lots of moves slip by the cracks.... The whole set still desperately needs to be double-checked with the current rosters on mlb.com - there are tons of major leaguers with the wrong numbers, and who are in the minor leagues... I would think just matching the rosters up to the current 25 man rosters and correcting the jersey #'s would be the first step to making updated rosters. I'm aware of this but come back with the same "observation" when you've put between 15-20 hours of your free own personal family time into a pair of rosters. I'll have the numbers fixed in UR 6.2 as I've already started that project.
xxkylekashxx
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I open the roster file in MVP Edit everything looks great. I was checking the Marlins roster since I am most familiar with their team and their minor league system. However, when I go in game and view their roster it is different. I was viewing the .mbe file in MVP edit. Is this the file that the game reads? Or does it read the information from within the .dat files? The main person I cannot find in the game is Carlos Martinez. But when I look in MVP Edit he is on their roster. Any help?
herky
Here are some Cubs CAPS to use as a base. Freddie Bynum http://www.fanfaregames.com/mvp/player_info.php?ID=1293 Angel Pagan (Has different stance than in UR) http://www.fanfaregames.com/mvp/player_info.php?ID=1292

The game only reads the .dat files. When you have the .mbe file open (so you can see the players in the roster) you click on "export". This opens a new window which is called "export dat files". You then need to double click on your "database" folder. (a subfolder of your main mvp 2005 folder) This will open the database folder. Then click on "ok". & let the program export the files. You will see when it's finished doing this. Then close MVPEdit & you are good to go.

The landscape of each team changes everyday and what a daunting task to try and keep up with this. Everyone can edit and make changes as they see fit with MVP Edit. I don't get the chance to play the game as much as I would like, but your work doesn't go un-noticed and I for one applaud you!

drkazo
Totte, a team shouldn' have 8 or 9 starting pitchers. Cut them down to five for a solid rotation and base some as Long Reliefs. Rick Bell = Omaha Ray Aguilar = Midland Shane Costa = Kansas City, not High Desert and many more players in displace positions and clubs.

In-game it doesn't really matter. The game only recognizes the 5 pitchers in the starting slots as starters. If you go ingame to any team & look at their roster, you will see this to be so. WesleyanCowboy
Can someone do a help me with some CAP figures for a Island Empire 66er's pitcher named Robert Rohrbaugh. I played High-School ball with him, watched him pitch at Clemson, and would like to see him in the game. Evidently he had a heck of a first-start for the season.
