I just noticed something on my rosters that is wrong. I am sure it is just an individual problem so I will ask. I have Jeff Weaver under Free Agents in my game, which might mean there are other problems. Should I re-download the rosters? What is the best way to get them right? I used the 6.2 Plus Edition.

EDIT: Yep, there are other mistakes. Jose Lima is a Free Agent as well.

You haven't installed the rosters correctly is you have Weaver and Lima on the FA-list. Try installing them again and follow the readme that's included in the download.

I just reinstalled MVP and redownloaded the rosters and I still have the same problem of Weaver, Lima, and a bunch of other people that shouldn't be on the Free Agent list. Tell me if I have done something wrong:

In WinRAR I extracted the dat folder in the UR 6.2 into the mvp baseball 2005/data/database folder.

Then I extract Big_Smooz's models.big file and extract it into the mvp baseball 2005/data folder.

I then extract Big_Smooz's uniforms.big file and extract it into the mvp baseball 2005/data/frontend folder.

I am trying this again a third time.

I think I might know the problem. When you extract the whole folder, it makes another folder called /database in your already existing database folder. The best thing to do would be just to drag the .dat files manually into the /database folder. Try that.

Oh ok I will try dragging and dropping the files from WinRAR into the MVP folders. Thanks.

Nationals option Brandon Watson and Wiki Gonzalez to AAA New Orleans and grab Ryan Church and Brenden Harris... terribly exciting I know.

BTW-Thanks for giving such an incredible effort to include all these small moves and edits into such a large roster. The only nitpick I could have is that there is no DL list, but that's not your fault. Keep up the good work!

can you make players born in 1988? Because i know if you create a person on the game its only 1987 it the highest.

I created Jose Tabata and he's in the rosters. I've not seen, and I'm not aware of, any problem with him.

The curveball has more movement than 0. On a scale of 15, maybe 7.

Also, I think Ken Ray's got both a 4 seamer at around 94 and a 2-seamer at around 89 to go with his change up at 84. I also think he's got maybe a mediocre curveball at 70mph. But don't hold me to it.

The curve has movement away, so it should be a screwball in the game. But as a curve, it snap up and down.

You need to extract the .dat files to the database directory, not the root directory. Also, you should be using back-slashes, not forward-slashes.

Did i need any other files because i am installing this roster update on the original mvp 2005.

Was i suppose to install something else before this new 6.2 roster update?

Opening screen still shows MVP 2005

Do i need to get Big_Shmooz uniform file right?

It has the model.big and uniform.big.

Anything else i need for these 6.2 plus roster update?

thanks

There's a guy working on editing Dynasty.

If he find out where DL is stored in memory, we'll probably have rosters with DL.

How's that?

Totte, here's a suggestion for the next roster update.

Jeff Bagwell doesn't look like he's going to be playing this season. I've been looking on the Astros website, and right now Bagwell is going to spend another month getting doctors opinions about his shoulder surgrey. If he has the operation done, he'll be out for the rest of the season. If he doesn't get it done, he may still spend this season rehabbing. Either way, it doesn't look good for his career.

Barry Bonds is also in decline, or so it seems. His knees are so bad at the moment, he's been replaced by a pinch-runner the few times he's gotten on base. He can't run, has little if any range in the field, and now with the floating bone chips in his elbow, his throwing and batting has been adversly effected. While I wouldn't take him off the Giants roster right now, a lowering of his abilities might be in order. I've actually begun to have doubts that he'll be able to pass Ruth in HRs .

Try installing the patches by EA too if it doesn't work dragging the files into the folder.
