is this roster going to be updated for all levels (MLB, AAA, AA & A)?

thanks

Browse the thread, this has been answered SEVERAL times...But for the newbs...

By Opening Day: We hope to have correct major leagues and AAA. Double A will hopefully come eventually, Single A, I'm not sure.

we are messing with all levels, just for A ball the will be composed of the prospects from all A levels.

From page 31 on how single A will be done.

Is this still the goal HypnoxXx? I know you were having second thoughts earlier because of the less talented minor leaguers retiring and getting replaced. My hope is that every organization's top 25-30 prospects are apart of the rosters, including the new draft picks. Not trying to make you answer more questions, but I think it's important to have a good idea of the goal, or the final product.

These are people in the Braves organization that have a chance of making the big leagues this year that aren't on the game. I don't have very much stuff for things like scouting reports or anything like that and I'm not very good at finding good stuff for people to use to create people. So if someone else could find some more information on these people it'd be great... if not I'll do my best to help you out with them.

Those players are from round rock express 2004 but some still play for the astros minors now that round rock express is AAA

Dont know about corpus Christi Hooks Yet and those are just the infield and out field .I will be doing the pitchers soon

And I a going togo ahead and put the new orleans Zephyrs here from 2004 before they got moved to toronto or wherever they are now.Cause i think some of those players need to be made and still are playing for the astros.

Also...I have a another question for you guys. I changed edited Eric Milton (changed his fastball speed from 96 to 92) and several other guys because they were throwing a lot harder than they usually do (for example, RJ doesn't bring it 100 MPH anymore) and I also edited SS Russ Adams' batting stance, so if I download the next version you guys come out with will it override my changes? If so, I'll let you know what I changed.

Yes, unless we have the same changes you have, installing our rosters will overwrite yours. We highly suggest backing up your files to everyone. That way, if you made some changes we didn't, you could simply export those players from your file into ours and delete our versions. Feel free to let us know how you've tweaked some guys. As far as Unit, I remember him hitting 98, 99 mph late in his perfect game last year--so he can still bring it fast, we'll just have to see how he does on Opening Day I suppose.

Houston--are these guys ON the Astros still? Just because they played minor league ball last year in the Astros Org doesn't mean they're still there. If it were as easy as that, I could go onto minorleaguebaseball.com, look up last year's rosters and have a total minors set done by now. Also, some of those players (Astacio) are already in the roster set.

McCarroll--That sure is a lot of guys who have a shot at the big leagues hehe...I was getting ready to make Boyer soon anyway, I'll take a look over your list before the next update...

And one last thing about our goals...That was my proposed goal for single A...But that definately won't be accomplished by Opening Day by any means. Once we have the Majors and AAA finished, we'll go from there.

New York's problems:

- McEwing, Garcia and Joey Hamilton have been released.

- Castro will be in MLB now that Phillips is about to be traded for Kaz Ishii

- Nelson and Moreno are not starters for AAA Norfolk but relievers instead. Moreno can go two innings and Nelson can go up to three.

- Yates out for season

- Trachsel out for at least 3 months so however you plan on getting around that, I'm interested to know.

- Juan Padilla in AA? I'm sure hw ill either go to AAA or be released

-Also, you have Koo in AAA and he singed a major league contract and will surely be in the Mets pen. Im not sold that Heredia will be with the Mets come opening day, especialy with how well Koo and Matthews have pitched.

LOL Yeah well you know the Braves always have a lot of options for the pitching staff to go to if someone gets hurt.. Those are the ones that were seen as possible callups or people who've had a good spring. Also some guys that will be looked to to play short if they trade Furcal later in the year (highly possible). And some guys that were looked at to maybe come up mid-year to play outfield until they signed Jordan and Mondesi. So yeah I know it's a big list but most of them have a legitimate shot at getting there this year.

Barry, Joseph, Childers, and Brown probably have the worst chances... so I guess you could hold off on them until they make it to the show. But the other guys are probably all people the Braves will turn to if someone goes down to injury or if the outfield spots become vacant.

Just noticed that kevin gryboski of the braves is missing his trademark sinker. It is easily his best pitch and is why he is so effective coming in with runners on base and gettings double plays.

I don't think he really throws a sinker. He throws a real heavy fastball that has some sink to it though. I haven't checked him out in the game so you may want to make sure his 2-seamer gets some sink to it.

We really haven't come up with what we want to do with injured players. Some people release them (that's just stupid, they're still under contract and if they're in the FA pool, they'll get signed by the CPU)...Others stick them in AAA (not quite as stupid, but a) they're still playing even though hurt and B) if you dont control that team, they'll get promoted right away)...Now for guys who are done for the year, we COULD delete them...but you can't reimport them into a dynasty or owner mode after your first year...So really, there's no good way to do it, since MVP doesn't support a editable DL. I'm sure we'll just leave injured players where they are, and let you the fan decide what's best for you.

if the player is injured to start the season, please dont make them injure on the roster.

please make all players healthy for your updated roster. i rather see the injuries happen in the game when playing.

but most might already be already in the game

just trying to help this project out.

No no no no.....Without the injury, Ishii would not be on the Mets nor would Phillips be on the Dodgers. I want it to be as realistic as possible.

Cant you use MVPEdit to reduce someone's statistics, put them into free agency where no team would touch them, take their salary away and then give him back all the oiptions when he really comes back in real life. Realism is what this is all about, right?

you coulddo that, but if you play dynasty or owner mode, and get to year two, the guy will still have his crappy ratings.
