thespungo
No, just for a certain amount of time. I'm not sure how long though, you'll have to check that. Yes, he does have to stay on the roster all year, or else he's offered back to the team from which he was taken in the Rule V draft. Look things up before offering your opinion on them... freshprince85
If I were the Mets and Delgado went on the DL, I'd play Nady at first and call up Victor Diaz again. i would call up b. harper. but sign offerman again is just stupid

Look things up before offering your opinion on them... Actually their are different levels of the rule v draft. The first is the major league level where the players have to stay on MLB roster all year long, and the the Triple A version and then double a and so on. So maybe you should look things before offereing your opinion on them spungo.
SwinginSoriano
That's was just a rumor. He signed with Oakland one week later. I actually read on SI.com that Juan Gone didn't actually sign with Oakland. He remarked that he did, and then for some reason in early April someone from the Athletics organization claimed they never contacted Gonzalez. I saw it on the "truth and rumors" section. Pretty much, he's a free agent.

abacusand13south
Yeah Gonzalez is a free agent heres news from March 24th explaining his status. Mar. 24, 2006 - 4:47 pm et Juan Gonzalez, who has already struck an apparent deal with the Red Sox and fictional deal with the A's this spring, is now trying out for the Rockies. So the rockies didnt want him so obviously he has little chance of playing in the Majors again.

I think abacusand13south just broke the biggest story of the year! Does anyone have more information on all this?! This is HUGE news!

Royal Blues
Royals SP Zach Greinke may be with the team before the All-Star break. He's in Surprize right now for extended Spring Training and will go to either Omaha or Wichita for awhile before rejoining the team in KC.
D-Unit
i just wanted to mention that jaret wright is way too fat, and to royal blues, what happened to greinke? are there any specifics because i havent heard about him since spring training. EDIT: I think Jason Giambi's second position should be DH (like ortiz) since he is gonna be there a lot more.
Royal Blues
Greinke had personal issues to the point where he had to go home and see a psychologist, which kept him out until now. Hopefully this will get him back on track, and we'll see the Greinke we saw two years ago. In other Royals news, SP Joe Mays has until Sunday to decide whether to accept assignment to Omaha. If not, he'll be released and become a free agent. This didn't happen soon enough, if you ask me.
