kg, i did a player search on mlb.com http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/team/player....layer_id=135782

it normally says what team he is on and his status is blank, which means he is a free agent.

Don't let the blankness fool you; MLB is awful in keeping track of players in the Player Search. Same goes for MiLB. I'm creating my own roster set and half of these minor leaguers don't show up in the MINOR league database.

Pirates acquired RHP Chad Blackwell from the Royals to complete the Mark Redman trade.

That happened back on December 8th, so move P Chad Blackwell A High Desert -> A Lynchburg

The Royals have converted Mike Stodolka, the fourth overall pick in the 2000 draft, into a first baseman. He's on the Mavericks roster as a 1b.

Hmm, P Mike Brunet is still on the Thunder roster, and says he's been with the team through yesterday (the 10th) yet he's in the FA list in 6.4. Which roster spot is right?

I don't think MiLB have updated the Trenton roster. He has been released, though.

Some info on Braves Callup Chad Paronto

He's a RHP #54. He's 6'5" 250 and was born on 7/28/75.

For his delivery, i'd say Hudson, maybe. Maybe a generic overhand-3/4 delivery with no major slowdowns or pauses.

As for his pitches.

4-Seam fastball with little to no movement. He's got real good control on the fastball and it clocks in at about 93-94 mph.

He's got a sinker with average sinker movement. It's got 12-6 trajectory and he's got below average control of it. It's about 90-91 mph.

Finally, he's got a curveball with an 11-5 trajectory. He's got average control of it (maybe a little less than average) and its about 81-82 mph.

Anyone else, feel free to correct me.

Kinda unrelated, but is Antonio Alfonseca still in the Major Leagues? And does he have 6 fingers on each hand in the game?

Going through every single team's MLB-Advanced A rosters. ;)

As you can see, I've gone from Anaheim through Minnesota so far.

All I can do is :hail:

Thanks for your effort, I appreciate it dude!
