True. I just think that top prospects and 1st round draft picks like Mayberry Jr should be inlcuded, instead of like a 33 year old bum on the decline and down from AAA or something. You know what I mean? Im sure im not the only one that releases these old guys in A and AA.

For the most part, those older guys are only in AAA as "fillers", which means they're not good enough for the MLB, but players in AA aren't good enough for AAA. Every team has a few. What you'll find with minor league teams is that AA is where the good players are separated from the bad ones. As for all A teams being the same, I disagree. Advanced A (Which is what the game recognizes) is just a notch below AA. Other A leagues as well as GCL and Rookie leagues are mostly for rookies, independent league player pickups, and foreign players that are just too raw at this point for Advanced A.

There isnt much of a difference between A leagues. Ive seen em all, Canadian A ball, Texas A Ball, Minnesota A Ball, they are all the same pretty much. For example Justin Upton is 18 he normall plays for South Bend Silverhawks but in the game he is on Lancaster. Which is fine by me and the reason they probably did this is because he is a Round 1 Draft Pick, Top Prospect, and is known among people who just casually follow baseball. John Mayberry is the same he plays for the Clinton Lumberkings not the Bakersfield Blaze and is also a Round 1 Draft Pick, Top Prospect, 4 Years Older than Upton, and known among Rangers fans.

I just think that having Mayberry on the A team in the game would be awesome, Rather than having a 33 year old relief pitcher, a 28 year old career minor leaguer and so on and so on.

ATLANTA BRAVES

Atlanta Braves call up Tyler Yates from AAA-Richmond.

Atlanta Braves designate Lance Cormier for assignment.

And yes, I'm still working on getting everything for AA-Birmingham perfect. But I probably won't be able to post them till later on in June. I'm leaving the country for 3 weeks.

John Mayberry Jr. is missing... Texas Rangers Outfielder 1st Round Draft pick 05.

I'm actually adding Mayberry and about 50+ more prospects/minor leaguers to the next version of UR.

Always one step ahead of you guys

Are you sure about Cormier? According to atlantabraves.com, Cormier was just sent down to Richmond.

which means he's being sent down...

Designate for assignment is different than being sent down to the minors. Being designate for assignment is being removed from the 40 man roster and being put on waivers where the player is available to all teams. In this case Cormier was sent down not designated.
