cornny
No. 2332 is correct. I'm one step ahead of you guys as this is the new number in the upcoming release by Hory. Okay, thanks Totte, sorry I didn't pay much attention on player ID thread.
juk34man
He's as white as they come; just a California kid with a decent tan. LOL for real? I thought he was latin with his last named and that tan.
cybernetic
Totte, what do you put for a guy who plays both corner infield positions and both corner outfield.. default: 3B. The guy can't play middle infeild, CF or catcher so you don't want him as a UTIL.

I would say UTIL but since you don't like that, I think you'll have to settle for either LF/RF or 1B/3B if you don't want to combine say 3B/LF or 1B/RF. cybernetic
It's because the guy is not a good enough fielder to field the middle positions or catcher so it's not really a UTIL player
JoeyMcM93
I have always found that a problem when a player plays more than 2 positions but isn't a utility player. I always just did the two positions he plays most, but I don't know who the player you're talking about is.
cybernetic
I know which positions they play most so I put 3B with RF as the alt.
sfgiantsflgators
what UR roster does everyone recommend - plus or standard? been out of the UR loop since more than one version was created :D
alcoholicstepfather
The only difference is that the plus edition matches Big Schmooz's models.big file so you have all of the latest cyberfaces. The standard edition does not have the cyberface numbers in it. Other than that, they are the same rosters.

MarkB
Hey Totte, are you going to be adding like players from the draft in the next UR? Probably only if they've actually been signed.
aaronuconn
Yes, very true, but im guessing the first and second rounders will sign.

MarkB
if a draft pick doesnt sign with one team, can it sign with another or does the player have to wait till next year? As far as I know, he's free to sign with anyone he wishes. They're essentially free agents, with the only differences being that some are drafted free agents (drafted, picked by a team, but didn't sign) and non-drafted free agents (didn't enter the draft). The boxscores in your signature is that from that MVPSavReader, MarkB? Nope, it's from tywiggins' great program, the Box Score Extractor.
alcoholicstepfather
Unsigned draft picks are not free agents. The team that drafts them keeps their rights for one year. After one year, the players go back into the draft, or become free agents.

maxbjr
Several of the unsigned draft picks will go play collage baseball for a few years to improve their stock, then re-enter the draft in hopes of getting a higher pick (and more money). Herbert Perry did this years ago at Univ of Fla, then he got picked by the Indians and signed for more then he would have gotten the first time he was drafted.
