pujols Posted July 18, 2006 Share Posted July 18, 2006 With the Cardinals organization, Bigbie and Rincon should be sent down and Reyes and Duncan should be called up. Both will be with the big league club the rest of the season. Reyes should be the #4 starts, Suppan the #5 and Weaver goes to long relief. Duncan has more pop than he is given right now. I know he has a small sample size as a major leaguer, but he currently is starting his career on par with Adam Dunn, sans the walk rate. If there is a Wally Backman batting stance, that goes to Miles. I hope that helps. There isn't a stance called Backman. Do you know any other stance that resembles it? I'm not sure on Rincon. I do believe he is done and has been since the WBC. Serious shoulder problem. Either way, Duncan and Reyes are staying with the big league club the rest of the way, sans a trade. Bigbie has had a total of like 23 at-bats with the Cardinals. He's on the DL right now, and when he comes back, I really doubt they are going to send Duncan down. Right now, he offers them stability against RHP in LF that they haven't had all year. krawhitham Posted July 18, 2006 Share Posted July 18, 2006 Reds fixes 1) Gary Majewski needs a sinker, well he is being billed as a sinker ball pitcher who can keep it in the park here in cincinnati anyway 2) For some reason Larkin has been removed from the team 3) Javier Valentin is hispanic so the 901 face is a no go 4) Coffey's change up is set at 90 which is correct, his change blows and it is too simular to his fastball 5) For some reason Larkin has been removed from the team 6) change one of Arroyo's pitches to a curveball, he claimed on FSN last week it is his best pitch. (he changes arm angles all the time when throwing it) 7) Castro fielding needs to be increased he is billed as a defensive super stud, they even gave him the nick name "manos de oro" (golden hands) For some reason Larkin has been removed from the team 9) Bring Ramirez back to the majors, he was only sent down so he did not miss a start durning the all star break.
