Totte
Great rosters as always Totte. Thanks Only one problem though. I'm almost afraid to start up a new dynasty until Aug 1st since I know several teams are going to be making moves just before the trade deadline. The Cubs are looking more and more like they're ready for a fire sale and the Nationals have a few players they can exchange for lots of good young players for next year's team. Over the next 7 to 10 days a few more teams could join the Cubs and Nationals in either setting up for next year or having sales. I'm actually waiting myself. I've got my final week of vacation from July 31st to Sunday August 6th  BTW; the Mets are still holding try outs for a 4th or 5th starter lol Maybe the Mets and Red Sox can arrange some sort of Summer Camp together? :D
Totte
Thanks pujols but it's fine if you just post the trades/signings/dfa's  I don't really pay attention to that other stuff...

tejdog1
Stupid trade.
kgbaseball
The only thing I can think of is maybe Gotay can play more positions than Kep? Obviously Jeff would've had a hard time getting to the big and sticking with Reyes and Hernandez there. Seems like a change of scenery trade, for Gotay especially. maxbjr
Gotay's main position is (or was) 2nd base. But I agree, it'd would be better to keep Kep and see how he developes, rather then get Gotay who you already know is going to be no more then average. The_Jerk
So I've started a new dynasty, and again, Mini Games don't work. Its the exact same problem as before. The mini game starts, the batter is shown warming up, then just before it turns around to the pitcher, it crashes. Shane Reynolds is not in the roster, so I assume thats the problem again, and trying to add him back in has never worked for me. Any suggestions? kabiff123
it's probably because you edited your rosters with MVPedit http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Foru...mini+game+crash
thespungo
I'd say the Mets got the better end of that deal. Keppinger, 26, seems to be projected as a utility man, while Gotay, 23, is still very young and could develop into something. If I were GM, I'd stick with the younger guy, as he has the higher ceiling at this point. Plus, Gotay showed off some good pop during last year's spring training, so I've always sort of liked the guy. I never thought he'd be a superstar, but I liked that we had a good hitting young infielder in the minors. But now we just have all old journeymen on our AAA team. What do New York fans think of Keppinger?
tejdog1
MOST NY fans do not like Keppinger, they go with the scouts, because they don't know how to think for themselves. I am VERY HIGH on Keppinger. I think he can hit .290 in the majors and play solid defense at 2nd.
cybernetic
The Blue Jays have designated 1B Shea Hillenbrand stating after he had an argument with manager John Gibbons about playing time and other things, no word if anyone will be callled up to take his place but most likely someone will
The_Jerk
I think Kevin Barker should finally get a shot, he's been an awesome hitter in the minors the past few years and he deserves a shot. Hillenbrand is acting like a dick. Hopefully someone makes an offer and the Jays can pick up a reliever or something. Unfortunately he's decimated ahtever value he had with this, so maybe he should have been traded two months ago.
kgbaseball
My sources (aka my wishful thinking) confirm that the Brewers have traded 3b Corey Koskie and P Carlos Villanueva to the Blue Jays for 1b/3b Shea Hillenbrand and P Roy Halladay.

Ghostrider
Totte, I'd like to get your feelings about including my correct pitch lists for pitchers in your Ultimate Roster Project. I plan to release it as a text file quite soon, but I also think it would be beneficial to include it within a roster update. Let me know if you are interested and keep up the great work! alcoholicstepfather
Totte, You can release Scott Mullen from the Mississippi Braves. I looked through the minor league transactions on www.baseballamerica.com and this was the only one that affects UR.
