TORONTO (AP) -- Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Pete Walker will undergo season-ending surgery next week to repair a torn rotator cuff.

The injury is likely career ending now that he is 37 years old.

FYI...

Blue Jays trade Shea Hillenbrand to the Giants for Barry Bonds...haha....just kidding, they did trade him to the Giants...here is the details...

The Giants sent reliever Jeremy Accardo to Toronto for Hillenbrand and reliever Vinnie Chulk.

Totte, I have made a somewhat rough draft of the Nats lineup, seeing as how it changes everyday:

LF Alfonso Soriano

SS Felipe Lopez

2B Jose Vidro

1B Nick Johnson

CF Austin Kearns

RF Jose Guillen

3B Ryan Zimmerman

C Brian Schneider

P Pitcher

Kearns and Guillen have reversed outfield spots and hitting spots a couple of times, probably due to lefty/righty starter situations.

Thanks

Totte,

there are still some mismatched cyberfaces in UR 7.1 plus. I went through Big Schmooz's spreadsheet and theses are all of the mismatched cyberfaces. I have included their cyberface numbers and the style of face that they should have.

Atlanta Braves

Tony Pena 642, 2004 Face yes

Bob Wickman 691, 2004 Face yes

Boston Red Sox

Doug Mirabelli 875, 2004 Face no

Detroit Tigers

Dustan Mohr 829, 2004 Face yes

Florida Marlins

Jeremy Hermida 817, 2004 Face no

New York Mets

Alay Soler 729, 2004 Face no

Chad Bradford 452, 2004 Face no

Julio Franco 639, 2004 Face no

Seattle Mariners

Jeff Clement 645, 2004 Face no

Tampa Bay Devil Rays

Jae Wong Seo, 367, 2004 Face no

Thanks for the info :wtg:

no Todd Linden in the deal. It's just Hillenbrand + Chulk for Accardo. I guess you recall Jason Phillips from AAA and move C Erik Kratz AA > AAA. Zaun will catch vs. a RHP and Hinske the DH. Vs. a LHP Zaun catches and Molina is the DH. Make Mahoney the starting catcher for Syracuse and move him to 8th in the lineup.

Here should be the new lineup, non-DL of course:

vs. RH:

Rios RF

Catalanotto LF

Wells CF

Glaus 3B

Overbay 1B

Molina C

Hinske DH

Hill 2B

McDonald SS

vs. LH:

Johnson LF

Rios RF

Wells CF

Glaus 3B

Molina DH

Zaun C

Overbay 1B

Hill 2B

McDonald SS

looks great

Well McDonald is not a long term solution at short. He's great defensively but can't hit very well. Adams has struggled terribly defensively and now also offensively so for the time being, he is the #1 shortstop.

of course, Giants wise, Hillenbrand will now take over at first. guess we'll find out tomorrow what batting order Alou will go with.

Keep me updated!

The red sox have called up kason gabbard to make a start tonight. You will probably not need to put him in the rosters because by the time the new UR comes out on august 1, he will be back in the minors.

He's already in the rosters but not on the major league roster. I have him down in AA and that's where I'll keep him.

Hopefully I'll have some Cardinal updates, since my power is hopefully on for good now.

Cool. I just fixed the minor league jersey numbers you posted a couple of days ago.

Hillenbrand will most likely be hitting sixth behind the streaking Durham.

Thanks for the send off Totte. I ended up winning the circuit! I'm pretty sore, but the big trophey is worth it.
