Hillenbrand will most likely be hitting sixth behind the streaking Durham.

he did hit sixth tonight. alou has been known to switch it up frequently, but i would assume that this lineup would be a good bet for UR purposes:

winn cf

vizquel ss

alou rf

bonds lf

durham 2b

hillenbrand 1b

feliz 3b

matheny c (alfonzo currently with matheny out)

pitcher

Dan Kolb is now the Brewer's closer replacing Derrick Turnbow. Turnbow should be a Middle-Relief Pitcher

Thanks for the send off Totte. I ended up winning the circuit! I'm pretty sore, but the big trophey is worth it.

Thanks bro and congrats on the victory!

I take it you missed MVP at least a little bit?

In a classy move, the Phillies designate fan favorite C Sal Fasano for assignment.

Think he'll be released, traded or outrighted to AAA?

Already did that

He's batting relatively well and showing freakish power all of a sudden. So somewhere in the 60's for contact and upper 70's or lower 80's for power (especially vs righties) might make sense as well.

Oh... and Edmonds head might finally be becoming dislodged from his butt... so maybe putting him back at something close to Jimmy Baseball-like numbers...

P.S. I think John Rodriguez's stance is closer to FLOYD than... oops... forget who you have him as now.

P.P.S. Oh yeah - John Gall (AAA 1B) requested and recieved a release yesterday. He's gonna go play ball in Korea for more money. I guess he should be made a FA.

I mentioned Duncan's power needing upgraded and Gall's releasing.

But yeah, I said Giles's stance for Rodriguez, but like I said when I posted that, I didn't get a good look at it.

And I agree with upping Edmonds again, he's hit 8 homers this month

As an avid Twins fan I think Justin Morneau deserves a look, Mauer too for that matter. Mauer is a much more balanced hitter than he is represented in UR, and Morneau is hitting .309 with 25 homeruns, and he actually took a step back in 7.0 compared to 6.5 *plug *plug. Also Liriano's big breaking ball is a slider not a curveball. Wicked movement and 91 mph its nasty.

In a perfect world, he gets outrighted and we see him in September. Most likely, he'll get traded or released. He has already said he'd like to be picked up by another team, but he also said he would have liked to retire here in Philly, so I'm not convinced he is just going to leave yet, but who knows? They may package him in a horrible deal (because the Phillies have only made a few in their existence), or watch him walk away.

BTW, you should now make Coste a Catcher and put him on the MLB roster, since they are dubbing him the backup. Heck, you may even consider slotting him in the lineup if the ship keeps sinking at this rate.

I've already released him into the FA-pool but considering he's off to Korea and I need roster space, I'll delete him.

No more Sal's Pals? I wish the Mets had room for him. What a character.

Why? Is Turnbow injured?

no, he got demoted - don't know the exact stats, but he's blown about 5 saves in the last couple weeks.

i think he blew 2 in a row starting with the last game of the giants series, when he imploded in the ninth against the giants with durham getting the GW hit.
