Mav3rek
Reds sign Scott Hatteberg to 1 year extension, reinstate David Ross from 15 day DL, and designate Joe Mays for assignment to clear up a roster spot for Ross. Also Royce Clayton is #2 for the Reds, I believe he's #10 in the game right now.
clevindn
Seattle acquired first baseman Ben Broussard from the Cleveland Indians for outfielder Shin-Soo Choo and a player to be named. Defense will probably look like this now (according to Indians.com news posting) vs RHP: C Victor Martinez 1B Casey Blake 2B Ronnie Belliard SS Jhonny Peralta 3B Aaron Boone (hopefully not much longer) LF Jason Michaels CF Grady Sizemore RF Shin-Soo Choo vs LHP: C Kelly Shoppach 1B Victor Martinez 2B Ronnie Belliard SS Jhonny Peralta 3B Aaron Boone LF Jason Michaels CF Grady Sizemore RF Casey Blake No word on batting order yet. jchanyaem
Royals pitching lineup needs some work. Granted they keep changing more than most teams. STARTING 1. Redman, 2. Elarton (currently spot occupied by Runelvys Hernandez), 3. Luke Hudson, 4. Gobble (Odalis Perez will most likely to be taking his spot with Gobble moving to long relief in the bullpen), 5. Duckworth (Soon to be moved long relief in the Bullpen, with Jorge De La Rosa to take his place) BULLPEN Burgos - Closer Joe Nelson - Setup Wellemeyer - Middle Sisco - Middle Leo Nunez - Middle J. Affedt - Long When I tried to make the changes myself there were too many position players to have the pitching lineup. Personally I'd move Estaban German down to AAA to make room if needed. MPrior22
Not sure if this was posted, but Sean Marshall was placed on the DL with a oblique injury. The Cubs called up Rich Hill from AAA Iowa. He will make his first start today. *edit* Couple of things you could fix with the cubs is.. Rich Hill's fastball is at 89-91 not 96mph, Jacque Jones has a Shawn Green stance, Maddux has a 12-6 curveball at 76mph, Prior's fastball is more at 92-93, Matt Murton is faster than a 65. Probably could put him at 75. Sean Marshall wears his pant legs down. Other than that your roster's are great Totte. Keep up the good work.
