evil1182
A little update on the progress of the upcomin UR-release. Thanks to redsoxfan and evil1182 I've managed to update all the player salaries in a project to add even more depth to to upcoming dynasties. I've finished 7 teams in my generic faces overhaul and I intend to have this taken care of by the time I release the rosters. I spoke some about updating the top prospect in each organisation using the scouting reports in the BA Handbook. This is something I'll definitely do at some point but I probably won't have time to add it until Tuesday. Look for it in a future update. After the August 1st release, I'll be taking time off to enjoy the summer, finish off my real baseball season and actually play some games of MVP instead of spending time with Mr. MVPedit. I'll still be around the boards everyday but I won't release a new set of rosters until September 1st. You definitely deserve sometime off, I hope you enjoy your upcoming dynasty and good luck with your real baseball season and enjoy your summer. Emil
He pitched the no hitter for the Netherlands in the WBC right? Giants acquire Stanton for Shairon Martis http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article...t=.jsp&c_id=mlb I don't like this trade by the Giants. Yes, Shairon Martis is the guy who threw a no-hitter in the WBC. I really like Martis, he has a good young arm and could become a great starter one day. I'm getting sick of Sabean trading for even more older guys!

tejdog1
I hope the Mets don't trade Milledge, Pelfrey, Gomez, Carp, Humber, Niese, Guerra or Fernando Martinez. We need to keep those guys! BUILD IT with YOUTH!

BUILD IT with YOUTH! Yea I agree but if we have the opportunity to get D. Willis I wouldn't mind giving up Milledge, but I wouldn't give him up for Zito, Zito is just a rental and we could always use Diaz in left field next year after Floyd leaves. maxbjr
I don't think the Mets are going to be making any moves by the trade deadline. They were looking to make the big trade, but there aren't many players to make the big trade for. Zito is just a rental, and they're not willing to give away the farm for Willis or Soriano. jchanyaem
Thanks for the info. I'll watch the game on Saturday and see how he does. De La Rosa's stat line in his first start for the Royals... 6 IP, 9H, 2ER, 2BB, 7K It's hard to tell from 1 outing but that is really really good for a Royals pitcher. My guess is he stays in the Rotation for a while.
